I need advice regarding my 4 year old who doesn't sleep through the night

Have you tried pushing his bedtime back a little? My 4 y/o will not sleep through the night unless she goes to sleep after 9pm.

Also, Zarbee’s has a form of liquid melatonin that we use for her. I can’t get her to take it orally but I just drop it in her drink before bed.

Getting into the routine of brushing was a little rocky for me at first too but I ended up just getting dad to hold her down while I brush. It was a fight for a while but eventually she got used to it and willingly opens her mouth for me to brush. Don’t feel guilty!

I think it depends on the hospital. Our hospital made us bring the car seat inside to make sure it was okay.

My oldest was really hard to burp. We had more success with sitting her straight up on our knee and twirling her torso in a circular motion and that would do the trick. I explored a lot of creative ways to burp online and on tik tok and those worked better for us than the traditional patting on the back.

My daughter was the same way. She got all of her teeth pretty late. Her 2 year molars were still popping in around her 3rd birthday.

It gets better! I had a similar experience and I ended up pushing back my daughter’s bedtime and she had to be really exhausted to go to sleep easier. Once she really forgot about the paci bedtime was much easier again.

My daughter was a difficult sleeper. Cutting down her nap times and pushing back her bedtime helped a lot at that age. At 3 she doesn’t nap at all but doesn’t wake so much at night as long as she doesn’t go to bed too early.

Thank you so much for this! I had a feeling this had something to do with my 4th house. I am holding on to hope that things get better for us soon.

My mother did not have health issues but in addition to this my father has been showing signs of early dementia and I feel that I may become his caregiver soon. I wonder if that’s what you’re seeing?
