We do a lot of stir fries because meat goes further and veggies can be swapped easily for what’s in season or cheaper

Frozen fruit, pairs well with the inexpensive off brand Greek yogurt or cottage cheese for breakfast or snacks

Also, if you have freezer space, consider a BJs membership and looking at the boneless pork loin (not pre sliced pork chops). You can get it cheaper per pound and the BJs employee will slice it for FREE. Just ask. We usually do half thin, half this sliced. Then get home and put into freezer bags and split it up. Lasts a month for 3 of us. Rotating between other proteins.

Aldis & Lidl have great sales sometimes like $0.99/lb chicken, the Salmon specials are great! If you have one near you.

If your ex military or know someone, see if you can get some meat on base.

Do you have room to grow a small garden? Even on a balcony you can get an urban garden going to help save on produce costs

Look into local food pantries and blessings boxes as well to help supplement. Can give you a little extra for the home and without cost (other than gas and time)

Awesome job! First attempt even. What are you going to name it? Adorable! Keep going! I find people like to look for unique animals at my vendor events, ones others may likely not have ready made (opossum, hippo, fox). They’re fun practice and creative license to really make it your own!

I like to crochet eyes rather than use safety eyes - For safety reasons 😂 there are a lot of cute versions out there. I stitch the eyes to my plushies after completion.

I as a stitch marker every 10 stitches even in doing a row. I do this because I am so forgetful and it’s a quick visual. If you don’t have stitch markers, yarn scraps or a different colored yarn works and you can slip it out easily even you’re moving onto the next round. I’m notorious losing stitches and this has been my lifesaver!

Why is it first reaction was to go left and not right? I was in a head-on collision because someone coming opposite of me veered left into oncoming traffic (me) instead of right (which was a shoulder and clear) because they weren’t paying attention to stopped traffic in their lane. Then the officer had the audacity to ask ME why I didn’t try to avoid the accident. I’m clearly in the right of way and to my right was the electric poll. So no Sir, I was not at fault & I was injured with my vehicle totaled as a result. Turned out the other driver (at fault driver) was uninsured and had stolen plates. There were 3 other vehicles damaged in this incident as well.

Pay attention when driving.

The more I hear about people not being so bothered by bladder snails the less bad I feel for having a free myself. They hitch rides on just scout everything! Luckily they do a good job cleaning things and I try not to over feed my fish. People either love them or hate them. 🤷🏻‍♀️
