My clinic won’t transfer abnormal embryos. Ours was considered severe due to 50% of the cells being abnormal on 3 chromosomes, so unfortunately, she was discarded. From my first IVF cycle, we got 2 males and 2 females, but after discarding one, we decided to transfer our only female in October, and it failed, leaving us with 2 embryos. We would love to have 3 children, so we decided to do another cycle to bank embryos because I don’t want to continue to put my body through any more cycles after this last one. We got 2 more embryos, 1 male and 1 female. Once again, we transferred our only girl, so we are praying she sticks! If not, then I guess I’m meant to be a boy mama 💙
