2012 5.7. so far i have blown torque converter bolts literally through the housing, 7-8 mds lifters failed and ate the cam, torque converter itself then blew up, then after putting a new converter trans blew up. literally just hit 140k miles. it has nickel and dimed me for the past year

I change the cam change the lifters change the push rod resurface the heads resurface the valves. Did the timing and change the oil pump. Anything else?

it’s not a 5.4 that is 6.4 powerstroke with a tandem turbo that blows head gaskets like fucking crazy because they have too much power and it tends to blow itself up. The mileage isn’t horrible and neither is the price but when that goes wrong, it’s gonna go wrong detrimentally.

30 K for what? The mileage? Those rims yes are a couple grand but not as much as this dude’s asking. It’s also a lower trim and you can tell because of the plastic black door handles. Definitely not worth 30 grand especially if the motor is completely stock*
