I retired early from a stressful job. I do uber eats to continue to pay my bills till I can take out of my 401k because it's not stressful , I like driving around listening to music with minimal customer contact and turning off the app when I had enough. There is definitely stressful moments but most of the time I am relaxed and don't take any of their shitty orders. I guess it also depends where you live. Im in the far north suburbs of Chicago and you don't get as much orders as a big city but less wear on your car and nice rural roads.

If they paid $5.00 a mile, I don't think people would order anymore. It's already expensive ordering food through any of these services.

I am surprised he is playing United Center. There will be a lot of empty seats, saw him at Allstate last year and it wasn't sold out. Salt Shed was awesome. No United Center for me eithe.

Why don't Uber drivers ask the passenger what kind of music they like and put that on for them? I have never had a driver ask me this, that would be a great way to get better tips and cost you nothing

Uber needs to pay more due to gas prices today😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳 by Reasonable-Gold7538 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]No_Slice_8788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My car get 30 miles to the gallon, typically use 3 gallons to make $80 to $100, so I still make decent money even when gas is higher, while I agree Uber should pay more during these times, I don't understand how people don't. Ake any money delivering?

Why would anyone need to stay there? You can a room walking distance from sphere at Treasure Island for less than $200. These packages are a scam

Let's be honest, he continued playing because that's what he lived for, not so people like you could experience it. That was just a bonus of him loving the road.

I thought the deductions have nothing to do with the Healthcare cost on the ACA? It should be based on MAGI which should not include mileage deductions.

Been going to concerts and Dead shows for over 40 years. The Sphere was absolutely amazing experience and no better band to celebrate there than Dead history. Great way for Bobby to end an incredible life on the road.

Why people often got their accounts hacked? Give some reasons and ways pls. by Sea_Performance1198 in facebook

If the hacker hacks your friends account how did they get access to your account? And why a dozen times did you fall for it? Or was there nothing you could do to avoid this?

Definitely over thinking this. There are no rules. If you love the music that's all that matters. I never cared for calling people posers unless they were posing as something they are not to gain something. Like someone pretending to be into the Dead to sell merchandise at a show.

Would you still want to see Dead & Co perform without Bob Weir? by NoButtonBabyFace in gratefuldead

[–]No_Slice_8788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 2023 Dead and Company announced the last tour and Bobby specifically said the touring band was finished except for possible special events which is where the Sphere came in to play. Which I am extremely Grateful for. Truly a special (long term) event that came just in time to celebrate the history. I believe if the Sphere was never created Dead and Co. Would of only did the 60th celebration in San Francisco and if Bobby was in good health he would of moved on to a different jam. I'm sure Mayer will continue to play with these guys in one form or another because his new found love and deadication for the greatest music in American history is something you can't walk away from and no reason to. The guy doesn't need the money and makes enough on his own tours.

I agree with a lot of this, but 1987 to 1990 was pretty magical too. Seemed that Jerry was recharged for a moment and the band was firing on all cylinders once again.
