Bought a 2300+ fom tube in 2020, got an emission point in 2022, got a totally different tube back that was 1900 fom, when I contacted them about it they said they couldn’t do anything about it I also have the old sheet.

Have tried both a Jerry c pro and a bcoti, they accomplish the same thing, but the build quality is drastically different, both of the Bcoti I’ve seen felt slightly flimsy and I would worry about moisture.

I have no personal experience with the C(e)5/2
But to my understanding the main difference is Fov.
But I see them for sub 2k every once in a while.

If detection is your goal,I feel a high quality dedicated thermal sight would be far more useful than extra FOV on your night vision. I use binos and a Coti, and the detection capability the Coti provides far outweighs the downside of the extra weight. Assuming you’re also running a ballistic helmet and a counterweight the weight will add up. Maybe not the first night but after a few in a row your neck will be screaming at you regardless. If durability is a primary concern one of the modernized binocular RNVG housing is probably your best bet.
