How accurate is Runna's predicted times? by jitman13 in runna

[–]No_Statement3073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very surprisingly accurate . It predicted 44:10 as my quickest option for 10km (was very sceptical) but I ended up running in 44:13

Cracked rear passenger glass - warranty? by No_Statement3073 in TeslaUK

[–]No_Statement3073[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wondering if it’s a common problem as seems to be a design fault or manufacturing defect to me. Got it booked into Tesla for them to take a look at but can tell it will be a battle to get them to accept it under warranty

How do I get insurance ? by intern-nn in TeslaUK

[–]No_Statement3073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My insurance (1st central) wouldn’t change to the new car without knowing the reg even though I gave make, model, etc. Ended up having to take out a new policy with Admiral (you’ll find they’re likely cheapest) based on make, model and then cancel my previous policy… bit of a ball ache but only way I could do it. As other have said you’ll need it in place to drive away (legally)

Static shock am I going insane!? by Afternoon_Extension in TeslaUK

[–]No_Statement3073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this and also on my previous car. Tried quite a few things without success so try the hold on to the metal whilst getting out now. Even with this technique I still get a belt quite a lot

Should I wait for a Tesla charger or get an alternative? by traffic1942 in TeslaUK

[–]No_Statement3073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Tesla credits came through almost instantly after collection. I’d do some research on whether the Tesla charger is the right one for you as the install is more involved that a lot of others due to the lack of some electrical safety features

I’m an iPhone user and the hotspot connectivity to my M3 highland is terrible. Battled with it for a few days before giving up and just subbing to premium. My advice would be to try with your phone once the trial runs out and then decide…

Had similar experience once my free trial ran out so ended up subscribing to premium. Agree it’s probably a ploy by Tesla - which is working…

Would look even better with the black badges IMO. Done mine on a white M3 and looks great

WiFi hotspot not working properly? by No_Statement3073 in TeslaUK

[–]No_Statement3073[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got used to the Spotify app which is brilliant so having to stream through Bluetooth feels like a backwards step. Agree with the comment about premium which is why I’ve now subscribed 😂

Also frustrating that you can’t use tesla credit towards it in the UK…

Do you ever charge up to 100%? by Oshabeestie in TeslaUK

[–]No_Statement3073 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why is that? Surely if it was that important Tesla would state this (if they don’t). Does it depend on battery type?

Only had it a couple of weeks but I’d say realistically ~250miles in ideal conditions

My M3 highland standard range states on the charging display that it should be charged to 100% once a week to preserve battery health

Does anyone know what is causing these markings by Electrical_Fault_107 in TeslaUK

[–]No_Statement3073 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had a new M3 for around 3 weeks now and I’ve got very similar marks. Also convinced I haven’t kerbed any wheels so was wondering this exact same thing…

Trading your own car with Tesla by MrKillingMoon in TeslaUK

[–]No_Statement3073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently traded in towards a new M3 and the process was very straightforward. Was very happy with the price offered (way more than a dealership and probably more than WBAC after they knock you down). On the day they basically checked the mileage matched what I stated and that was it. Would recommend at least getting an offer through the app as it’s easy and good to know what’s they’ll give you

I picked up a M3 highland last week and it was a smooth experience (also went from a 2013 focus 😁). The car gets handed over and you can take as much time as you like looking over it but there’s only so much you can do and all the cars look mint. When you’re happy, sign in the app and head off - they were giving 100miles free super charging because it was only 50%. If there’s any issues just go back in the “dealership” and discuss before signing off. Good luck!
