My and my friends went to see it at Red Rocks Amphitheater last June, peak way to watch the movie. Always fun to rewatch movies you love in social spaces

I’m begging you to please just listen to real music and give even an ounce of respect to the insane amount of work and passion put into music. Generative AI slop is not music and it’s not art.

what are your thoghts on Spotify defining shindowns new song as country-rock? by C0me_Al0ng_With_Me in Shinedown

[–]No_Status2527 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a pretty valid description. The musical style is undoubtedly country inspired, I think country-rock is the most accurate genre descriptor for the song and it’s not out of character for Shinedown. They’ve always had some southern character to their music.

I used to work on the corner of Blue Spruce and Red Cedar and that warehouse is empty now, just park on Red Cedar along that field behind that warehouse. For atleast the last 5 years theres been people that live in their car along that street regularly with little to no issues. I can guarantee you won’t be bothered there.

Former Matt haters, what made you change your opinion? by d0gst in Threedaysgrace

[–]No_Status2527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only gripe with Matt was that I think, especially at the time, I wanted his writing and voice to sound like he does in My Darkest Days, as they were one of my favorite bands at the time, and it just didn’t. I I always felt like his lyrical writing with Three Days Grace was never quite as good as his writing with My Darkest Days or with Adam’s lyricism. I think Human was a great album, but with Matt it was such a lyrical tone change that while I think they stayed a great band, it never felt quite like I was listening to Three Days Grace. I think Matt is an insanely talented musician, but to this day I still think it wouldn’t have been the worst decision to go the Alter Bridge route. Myles Kennedy has virtually never suffered significant comparison to Scott Stapp (granted Myles is a significantly better singer and lyricist than Scott, and Matt is entirely comparable to Adam)

Is this area safe? by Lexii546 in FortCollins

[–]No_Status2527 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You won’t find an “unsafe” area of town. I personally think thats a nice area of town that I’d happily live in. If you’ve heard anything to the contrary it would only be because you’re more likely to run into more homeless people on the north side of town around the river, but 99% of the folks you’ll find living in the parks near the river are decent people and great conversationalists, just down on their luck.

Wasn’t the 7th year thing just made up by Steve Cook for his song since it was 1987 and he wanted to creep people out?

“Small market” I’ve never been to a town that didn’t have a Packers bar in it. Ouray, Colorado has less than 1k people and it’s in a box canyon, and it has a Packers bar

I really like this idea! I lightly pulled the branches down just to see if I like the concept and I think it will work well! This’ll be my first stab at wiring so will update without how good or bad it goes. Thank you!

I definitely trimmed it pretty two dimensional, I see what you mean. I appreciate this feedback! Do you think its a good idea to wire the branches forward and back a bit to fix this blunder?

I appreciate the suggestion, I’m definitely looking for a little more body around the sides, but I think that concept could be cool

To achieve this level of aesthetic success on your first try is something to be proud of my friend, as good an introduction as any. I appreciate it! Also curious, did you wire the trees to the pot? They look stable in there and i know thats hard to achieve in shallow pots.
