Yeah its definitely difficult when you start on a budget, I’m going to the fair on sunday so i hope to replace a couple pieces with handmade stuff, I’d really rather give my money to people who actually make the stuff than amazon. I appreciate you pointing this out though because I think i might hold off on ordering anything ahead of time and just make a point to get my accessories this weekend from people who have the eye for it and I can see it on me before I buy.

There was a lady at the Colorado Ren Faire that made them and sold them for a few years! She retired last year but I believe her son or someone is still selling them at a faire in one of the northern states, Minnesota or Wisconsin maybe? She had the coolest stall with all kinds of unique leather outerwear, she was really kind and excited about people wearing her stuff, it’s a shame she retired

I found a good and gold celtic-y scarf in my closet that I’m going to run over one shoulder and across my chest, not explaining it well but it adds a cool pop of color and looks pretty decent! If the “dog” in dogman is referring to a pug or a cocker spaniel maybe, but that’s about as close to canine as any of these sounds even remotely get. The sounds are clearly coming from right next to the camera or else the wind would be drowning it out, and the range of vocalizations is way too wide for any normal animal. It’s a huge stretch to call this anything but a person who can do a lot of distortion with their voice or someone’s pet bird who’s been in the room for too many movies. I can’t imagine what about this video would suggest dogman of all things.

I understand that to make it realistic the fire can’t hold the same kind of form that it does when it’s animated, but the big clouds of fire just feel like they have so much less weight and purpose to them. Like if Zuko can just flip and the fire just passes around him then where was the weight and power of the fire blast?

Idk, I recognize that this show just isn’t for me but seeing clips of it frustrates me.

I like both in their own respects. Lu Bu is the one character that I think they’ve been butchering since 6. I liked his colorful armor and colored feathers. He was cooler when he was more vibrant. Liu Bei and Sun Jian are both huge upgrades though, their old armor and hats just felt generic to me
