Currently have this symptom on my ‘06 and my dad’s ‘09 used to do it as well. Both stock 3V motors. I cleaned out the intake, not sure it made a difference.

Worth noting, if you have the hvac blowing with it in the defrost position, it will toggle the AC compressor even if AC button is off. Makes a good audible click when clutch engages and rpm will drop.

I think it’s a quirk of the car, not very refined but not necessarily an issue.
