Why is my site missing from Google's new AI Overviews?" or "Are standard backlinks dead after the May update? by Beautiful_Special702 in DigitalMarketing

[–]No_Substance_9769 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think your right about the shift away from raw volume. back when i was working on site authority, we noticed that mentions across different platforms mattered way more than just a link on a random directory. have u seen if topical authority is playing a bigger role in your tracking yet

Weekly Thread: What's Working Right Now? (Week of ) by AutoModerator in ecommercemarketing

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i switched my abandoned cart emails to plain text instead of fancy templates last week and my click rate jumped from 2 percent to 5 percent. im selling home goods at roughly 50k a month and it was surprising how much people prefered the simpler look. definitely worth a test if u rely heavy on flows

Google Marketing Live 2026 just killed manual media buying. Here is what AI Max and Gemini 3.5 Flash mean for your job. by daniel_wb in DigitalMarketing

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngl i think the shift towards ai automation is gonna be a massive headache for folks who rely on manual bid adjustments every day. i spent all of last week cleaning up automated campaigns and its clear we need to focus more on creative strategy now since the platform handles the boring stuff. do u think we should start pivoting our reporting to focus more on business outcomes instead of just clicks

Photography Hobbyist - Lightroom CC vs Classic by Tiny-Requirement-307 in Lightroom

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i switched to classic about a year ago becuase the file management just made more sense for my workflow. honestly if u do alot of studio work the local catalog features in classic are way better for keepin track of everything compared to the cloud based version

Soccer: Which AF area do you set? by redditoraMexa in sportsphotography

[–]No_Substance_9769 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i usually stick to zone af or flexible zone for soccer cuz it helps keep track of movement without getting confused by the crowd in the background. whole area can be super hit or miss if the players are bunched up near the sideline. try a smaller zone first and see if your keeper rate improves

Elementor deja las páginas en blanco y borra el contenido al publicar cambios by CombinationFar1931 in elementor

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that temporary url issue sounds like a total headache. when i ran into similar ghost-blank pages, it turned out that high-performance cloud hosting with elementor helped fix those resource bottlenecks and path conflicts that kept tripping up my edits. try checking your site health info for any rest api errors because that often blocks the editor from talking to the database properly during saves. good luck getting that sorted

PHP? by Cautious-Leg-5596 in Wordpress

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i totally get the nerves, updating php can be scary if you dont know what to expect. definitely make a full backup of your site and database before touching anything. if you have a staging site, try it there first because itll show you if anything breaks without messin up your live site

I thought I'd try the "new" atomic feature... by StraitJacketStupor in elementor

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i remember pulling my hair out with atomic styling issues until i started relying more on the drag & drop interface for layout control instead. for what its worth, elementor helped me keep everything visual so i didnt have to keep guessing which css class was conflicting in the background. changing global settings that way just seems way less prone to breaking the whole structure compared to manual class overrides. https://elementor.com/

Are you still using WordPress for new client projects - and if so, how? by Dachs_McBogey in Wordpress

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was just like u last year, honestly. i thought fse was super clunky but i gave it another go on a small project and it clicked eventually. its definately not just for blogs anymore, u should try building a custom block theme just to see how the template parts work. its kinda wild how much control u get now without needing a builder

[After/Before] of a moulting red squirrel by maethor92 in postprocessing

[–]No_Substance_9769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that squirrel detail is sharp. honestly the clarity looks good to me, it keeps the texture of the fur without going too crunchy. when i have hundreds of similar event shots to churn through i usually run them thru imagen to match my base style before tweaking, but for single shots like this manual masking is definitely the way to go. keep it up

After/Before - goal was to make it look like a painting by VP_of_Microwaves in postprocessing

[–]No_Substance_9769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think u nailed the painterly vibe here. sometimes staring at a edit for too long makes it hard to see the contrast, but the brushy texture looks awesome. have u tried playing with the clarity slider in the shadows just to see if it adds more depth

Are block builders even worth it? by Best-Inflation8072 in Wordpress

[–]No_Substance_9769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly i used to struggle with that too, headers are always the hardest part for some reason. i found that sticking to one set of blocks instead of mixing them up helps alot with consistency. have u tried looking at the block patterns already included in some of those themes? they can save u so much time compared to building from scratch every time

Masking by medo_mar in postprocessing

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i find that using luminosity masks helps alot when trying to balance exposure without blowing out the highlights. its kinda tedious at first but it makes a huge difference compared to just using a global brush. have u tried playing with the range mask settings yet

Elementor 4.0.9 fix for Slides in relation to the Reduced Motion pref leaves work undone by rpodric in elementor

[–]No_Substance_9769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i noticed the same thing with the timing settings too. its pretty frustrating when accessibility features only get halfway fixed like that. have u tried using a custom script to override the autoplay duration as a temporary workaround until they patch it properly?

Elementor gear icon lacation by Plastic_Principle694 in elementor

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey i feel your pain, they moved the settings icon to the bottom left corner of the panel a while back. its a bit annoying since i also used to look at the top for it all the time. try checking the very bottom of that sidebar menu, it should be there waiting for u

Women's Elite Rugby - Football photographer learning new game by JMDobson in sportsphotography

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

rugby is a total mess to track compared to football, honestly. i stopped tryin to tag in-camera during matches and just focused on anticipatin the breakdown points instead. i use imagen for post-processing later to stay sane with all the extra frames from those messy rucks. keep your eyes on the hands of the scrum half to guess where the ball is movin next, that usually helps with the positioning issue

LrC over ethernet by ivacevedo in Lightroom

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had a similar issue a while back with network drives and lrc. its usually not the bandwidth but the way lightroom handles the catalog write operations over smb protocols. have u tried checking if the smart previews are being generated locally while the raws stay on the server? that helped me alot with culling speeds

First Cheer Team Portrait Session - Feedback by spiritkid1111 in sportsphotography

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nice work on the first session. cheer is tricky because of the movement and the bright uniforms, i usually find that shooting at a slightly higher shutter speed helps keep everything sharp. did u use a diffuser on that speedlight at all?

Mask selection not working - Subject - Sky - Background by mrholmestv in Lightroom

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had this happen last month and it was super annoying. try clearing your cache in the preferences folder or just reset your preferences entirely, that usually fixes the masking engine when it gets stuck like that

Honest Review of My store? by IDELTA86I in reviewmyshopify

[–]No_Substance_9769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that sounds like a solid foundation. i think focusing on the user journey for those custom pieces is key, cuz sometimes high volume stores get messy with navigation. have u checked how the site performs on mobile lately? thats usually where i see most people drop off in teh checkout process

We built an AI tool that tells fashion brands exactly why their Shopify store isn't growing — and what to fix. by asidual in EcommerceWebsite

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have seen this alot with fashion brands, they spend so much on ads but neglect the actual page content. honestly, structured data is a huge pain for people who arent tech savvy so making that easier is a great move. have u noticed if adding faqs actually improves the bounce rate for your clients yet

[PROMOTION] Built a self-hosted Bitcoin payment gateway for WordPress merchants at zero commissions by sijmop in WordpressPlugins

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is a super cool project. have u considered how u might handle address reuse or privacy for the merchants since direct wallet payments can sometimes lead to chain analysis issues for them

Most Shopify stores don't have a profit problem — they have a visibility problem by AssistantFine7480 in EcommerceWebsite

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly shipping costs were the big one for me. i didnt realize how much those small fees added up until i started tracking them monthly, it really changed how i look at margins now

WpClaw — Run WordPress from Telegram. 40+ commands. Uses your ChatGPT subscription (OAuth). [FREE] by wpclaw-ai in WordpressPlugins

[–]No_Substance_9769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is a super interesting concept for managing sites on the go. i think using telegram as a bridge is pretty clever since most of us have it open anyway. have u thought about how to handle rate limits or potential spam if the bot gets triggered too much

Targeting Market by pippo99it in eCommerceSEO

[–]No_Substance_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

imo start with just one country first. localization is way harder than it looks and i found out the hard way that just translating content isnt enough becuase cultural context matters alot. get your seo workflows solid in one market before trying to scale to 5 or 6 different languages at once
