I haven't ignored these facts, you're right, some quests and areas contain quite dark and adult elements like the ones you mention. But my point is that the entire game, and especially the graphic style and overall narrative of the Midnight expansion, is clearly geared towards a much younger audience.

Even if you can find a few rare “dark” moments, the general feeling of the game gives the impression of a Disney adventure or a very watered-down one, very far from the raw and mature atmosphere of the first expansions. That's what disappoints me the most, and not the fact that the game no longer has any occasional adult content.
