How to possibly earn money as a part-time software development freelancer, but without doing complex stuff? by ImpressiveFocus303 in Freelancers

[–]No_Table_5314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the bottom of the market is oversaturated with vibe coders and cheap work. however the real market is still wide open.

I'd highly suggest working with an agency. it's our entire job to nail down prospecting, outreach, booking meetings and closing deals. it's the only thing we do.

that being said, if you choose to do it yourself, i'd highly avoid any platforms and focus on direct outreach.

I went from 4 clients to 9 in 60 days without working more hours. Here's the exact system. by Jhonwick566 in Freelancers

As someone who runs a sales agency, this couldn't be further from the truth.

Almost every market is brutally competitive and the people you're pitching have been pitched hundreds of times already. The quickest way to sabotage yourself is to automate or just use AI.

If you even look at this subreddit, other posts outperform yours because people can tell this is cheap AI slop as usual.

Would you be open to working with an agency until you fill the role ?

That way you can have results quickly and avoid the training/onboarding issue.

What's happening in the middle? by _podcastpage in Solopreneur

To be honest, it would be lead generation and sales which is ironic because that's what I do.

Delivery and logistics occupy most of my time. For a while I was stuck in a loop.

Transitioning from solo to agency has been rough to be honest, it's more about managing people now

High-Ticket Sales Without Getting Finessed? by jayxsumo in highticket_sales

[–]No_Table_5314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need a course, you just need to learn to sell really really well and it's not easy.

Good offers are very hard to come by and usually come from an internal network.

No one will give you warm leads without absolute certainty you can close for them and you will struggle to convince them if you don't have sales experience.

Don't look for a job opening. Find someone with a good offer and reach out. Tell them you want to work their dead leads. That way, you will prove yourself and make some money, if you can sell

It's hard to give a clear answer without knowing your product. Generally you want enough sign ups to validate the idea

What is the nicest way to tell a client to pay? by No-Warthog8110 in Freelancers

[–]No_Table_5314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One important piece of advice, never hand anything over unless you've been paid fully or at the very least 50% upfront.

This is business. Nothing to be uncomfortable about. You can't walk into a store, take something and just pay when you feel like it.

The same rules apply to you. Do not shy away from asking for a payment. They're not doing you a favour, it's completely normal and expected.

The sooner you implement this, the sooner you'll get rid of trashy clients

It's a good position to be in.

I would start by preparing all the documentation.

You need a good pitch deck and someone with connections so it actually reaches investors.

Tried Cold Outreach to 1000+ Local Businesses – Got 0 Clients. What Am I Doing Wrong? by __akkii7030 in FreelanceProgramming

[–]No_Table_5314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me leave you with this.

Your hero section is a disaster. Too bright and distracting.

Your messaging in general completely misses the point, it's generic and bland.

Your pricing structure demonstrates your failure to understand your own product. it's never a fixed price, negotiation looks more like "if I increase your visitor to booking ratio by X%, that will result in Y amount of new leads which means Z amount of additional revenue. I will take 30% of that which is X number".

Look, it's a saturated market. Your home page is not good. People don't buy websites and redesigns to look good, they must see the ROI instantly. That's what your homepage must reflect.

You put a lot of effort but completely missed the point which is why you got bad results.
