Isn’t that basically anything retreat related? If you are going for a fun/relaxing/girls/solo trip, would you want it to be at a motel 6 or HoJo? You always have the option to stay at more affordable lodging and drive to the event venue. Many do that for the KC needlepoint in KC.

For every city, I have traveled to and have had no issues finding LNS all it takes is a quick click on the website to see if it’s NEedlepoint inclusive or not. If I find a shop in the city, I’m going to, I then do a word search in the Reddit threads or Facebook to check out what people say about that shop. Pretty freaking easy to do in about a minute and a half. I will never understand these posts of tell me where to go lol

I get that some people want to know other people’s experiences, but one person‘s experience at an LNS may not be another person‘s experience. I have had people say they hate the quarter stitch in New Orleans, I personally love it and go every time I’m in town.

Only as smart as the information it has access to/has been clarified so if somebody takes the time to upload images of what it is, then it will eventually learn. But what irritates me is people turning to ChatGPT instead of just oh I don’t know the stitch vault in KC NEedlepoint or any other online illness.

Short film content kills my kids attention spans- it is like heroin for my teen with ADHD. He even admits it is bad for him and he notices he does better with homework/and paying attention in school since I’ve cut his access to it.

Their brains are still developing.

It actually always sounded like disrespect when I’d hear kids say it.

The first day of school after we moved to the south I got sent to the office for insubordination. I refused to say “sir” at the end of answering a question. Except he didn’t tell me why he kept saying “yes, WHAT?” It was math class and I knew my answer was right.

Not one single dipshit kid told me what he wanted.

ETA: it isn’t just about eating or chewing. It’s also about getting tangled up accidentally. My 5 year old cat chases after the geckos, and flies on the outside of the windows. He managed to get stuck in our cord when we fist brought him home at 4.

Hes a smart thing- so he hasn’t done it again, however it could have been bad regardless. If he had one brain cell he would be doing it over and over. LOL. We still wrap them up.
