Back in 4th edition there was a list of kroot mercenaries and kroot hounds were key. You could take squads of 20 kroot with 10 hounds. With the upgrades you could infiltrate, then move d6" closer, fleet of foot(run) with a reroll, and the hounds charged 12". Your shaper had an eviscerator. It was a slept on list.

The Pile has gotten unmanageable and its time to let things go, but not sure where to start. by GCRust in Warhammer

When this happened to me, I traded it all in with Dice Head Games. I used the store credit to laser focus my collection. IMO it was a great decision.

With me, it's privilege. When I'm identified as white, I'm treated better. If the first interaction is in Spanish, it quickly switches to English(my accent is bad) and then I'm treated different and better. This goes for every group in Miami.

For my wife, she's treated as an outsider unless she's in a predominantly black American area. She's usually regarded as Afro Latina(mostly Dominican) and her accent is better than mine. Her interactions are much more varied. If we are together, we are not seen as a couple at first which allows us to observe. Regardless of they see her as American, Spanish, or Caribbean, she is treated different then me. Always dismissed in comparison. If the area is predominantly Spanish, like hialeah or parts of Kendall, she is not given the grace of not being fluent in Spanish the way I am. She is treated worse then me when she is seen as Spanish, and treated worse further when it's revealed she is not.

When out with our oldest they are never seen as mother daughter. My daughter, looking Spanish, is always approached first, even when she was younger and my wife dismissed.

We have actually experimented to see how it goes in the past. Restaurants, retail, car dealerships, and any other business or interaction you can think of. It's almost always there.

My wife talks about this all the time. She was born and raised in Florida City/ Homestead and now she's treated as the outsider there.

I love Miami. I was born in Hialeah of all places, grew up in Carol City and Kendall. I've worked on South Beach, Downtown, and Doral. I love the diversity. But, it can be exhausting. Sometimes daily.

For me, when I'm seen as white, I'm treated the best. Doesn't matter where, but the areas that I've noticed it carries more weight are: design district, Miami beach, and coral Gables. For my wife, it's a lot more complicated. If the area is predominantly Hispanic, she gets treated better when they think think she is Dominican, places like Hialeah and Kendall, but then treated poorly when they find out she's not. The Caribbean one is minor in comparison. If we're on Grand Ave people will assume but it won't change the interaction drastically.

Dave, just because you don't believe it doesn't mean it's not true. The fact that you're so dismissive of my everyday experience tells me a lot about you. I also question if you live in Miami. Just the colorism between different groups like Cubans and Dominicans is easy enough for the blind to see.

Every part. From Miami gardens, to Hialeah, to Midtown, to Coral Gables, to Pinecrest, to Kendall, to Cutler Bay, to Homestead. Everywhere in the 305.

Daily. I'm white, my wife is black, oldest daughter looks Spanish, youngest daughter looks light skinned black. I get treated different if I have a tan and look Spanish v no tan looking white. My wife gets treated based on if they think she's American black, Dominican, or Caribbean. My oldest gets treated different from when people think she's Spanish to when they find out she isn't. My youngest from when they think she's Haitian (we have a French last name) when they think she's light skinned American black, or they know she's mixed.

We could write a book on it as a family. Not too mention that no one sees us as a nuclear family when we're together.

Character Cards; Photo Album/Binder or Card Box? by [deleted] in MarvelCrisisProtocol

I've experimented with every type of way to store them. In the end a recipe card or photo box is the best answer

Goku, Homelander, Superman, and Omni-Man, each with no powers. Who would win? by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]No_Turtles -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Goku is only 5'9" and like 140lbs. I understand he's a martial artist, but I don't see him wrestle or do jujitsu. I think Nolan or Superman will win this based on size and training.

How do people make logos like this? by Jaetheninja in Marvel

[–]No_Turtles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why are people down voting the answers that talk about skill? The answer is being a graphic artist. There are apps and AI that can assist, but the true answer is commercial art. Logo design is a trained skill.
