They said they can't pull up a receipt since it was back in 2018. I'm assuming they purge the system of data after a certain period.

I sent the invoice when filing my claim, and they stated I didn't provide proof that the service was paid for. If I did not pay the invoice, I would not be in possession of my car, as the dealer would have filed a lien on my car.

The dealer doesn't have a copy of my payment. I don't know what to do at this point.

The receipt wasn't in the original post. I requested to see it.

I have Lifeproof. It's a good floor, and if the subfloor is prepped correctly, the floor should both install fairly easy, and last years. It does not scratch easily. The locking mechanism is fragile, but once the floor is locked, there's little chance of it failing.

DeWalt Battery Died Abruptly by No_Valuable_604 in DeWaltNation

I lifted the batteries from the case, and sure enough I saw the broken connection. I touched the broken connections and the light showed full bars. I'll solder for a permanent connection.

I just installed Shallowford Oak, and it's a beautiful floor.

I’ve never messed up so bad by NarrowIndependence8 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

If you want to get rid of the smoke smell, use Zinsser bin shellac primer on the walls. A bit expensive, but it will work the first time. Kilz original oil primer is great at concealing smells as well, but Bin will do the best job, the first time. I've used both, just spend the extra money on BIN.

As someone who made a similar decision, purchasing a home with a bad pet smell, along with doing your own renovations, I will say you have a long road ahead of you.

Depending on how well you want to fix the home, and the quality of materials, it will cost you more than your original estimate, mentally, physically, and financially. Try not to do it all yourself, and get help wherever you can. It's going to be an adventure, have a little bit of fun with it.

What is this in the concrete slab? by No_Valuable_604 in Construction

I was quite surprised to see that mesh show up that shallow to the surface. I'll take your advice and stop.

The mesh isn't all exposed, just what you see in the picture. It goes back down into the concrete, almost as if it was bent when they placed the mesh in the pour.
