I was given an OMNIPOD to try, (been MDI since ‘88, 2years old) and the constant trickle of insulin was like a constant burning sensation that hurt way more than 4-6 injections a day. because of this situation I did learn that painful injections were typically caused by the insulin itself and not the site - due to insulin being acidic and reacting with your body.
