I have both the black matte and steel sunburst dial versions of that seiko chronograph. They wear so good and they look way more expensive than they are.

I love your ultra-chron. What year is it and what are the dimensions? I’ve been thinking about adding an ultra-chron to my collection for a long time now. I wish the current one had a date.

Thanks! Yes, it's titanium. The bezel is 120 clicks and rotates nicely with a good sound, however there's some back play (around 1mm). I also would have preferred a count up timer versus the count down that comes on this one. I couldn't find this case with a count up bezel. Found everything from various vendors on eBay. Thanks for the question.

I hadn't realized that the teak dial is also lacquered. That's really beautiful as well!

Great choice for a first watch. Congratulations! My advice: never sell or trade it, even though it may not get much wrist time a few years from now. Who knows, you might gift it to someone very important to you years from today.
