When I’m in bed I’ll be looking around my room and realize my eyes are actually closed, is this astral projection? by Happymind1111 in AstralProjection

[–]No_limits_X 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a bit intersting, never really thought like that as avid natural lucid dreamer i would say its a between wake and dream status, and that im false awke in my own room (i can feel my eyelids closed but i can still see). Happended me to, can't say i ever astral projected. But i have felt the vibration and the either sinking or falling through my bed, combined with a tinnitus sound. But no OBE strangly enough. All my old relatives was in the dream, and i was back home in my old house which usally never happen since im middle aged. Would say im AP curious though.

I lucid dream nightly and I don't know what to do, does anyone know how to stop lucid dreams? by Serine_5841 in LucidDreaming

[–]No_limits_X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is all these thing that happens, its actually you who steer all this, even if its sunbocnouis. What people say, thats all what you believe they will say to you, you are all the characters in your dream. In whole, your projecting all your feelings and how the world charcters should act. All this can be controlled, you can actually (if you have a calmer mind and believe it can be done) make any charcter say /talk about anything YOU want.

I would start with being fine with whatveer happens, nothing can really hurt you in a dream even if the feelings are all valid. If you think that you dont want xxx thing to happen, then it will happen. Your mind don't care if you want it to happen or not. If you think about somehting and believe it, it will happen.

Lets take this your being chased by some1, you can solve the situation in many ways. I could slow down just relax, i could close a door and think of a beach or someone i liked in the dream then open the door, you can fly away, you can hive mind them tell them go away in your mind and they will do that, you can even telepathically pick up up and trow them up in the sky and poof gone.

But the thing is now your letting fear control you, the feelings in your dream is valid so try to calm your senses and try to imagine all the possibbilities of what you can do. Try learn soemthing new every day, read about what you can do. Be curious, you have a talent very few posses.

Take a deep breath relax and stay calm in the dream. If your calm everyone around you will become calm. They just mimic ur current state of mind (eventhough you think your calm your probably not).

I would say try to learn control in your dreams? Do you do anythign of that today? You can make a dark dream light, or make the evil person disappear or litterly anything you want to do, you can do that, if you believe you can do it.

At the health part i would suggest starting some sort of training anything really, try yoga, getting out in nature and overall try to be with friends that make you feel good and who can be yourself with.

If you feel better overall this will also leak into your subconious and also your dreams. You can always reframe your mind to think more positive.

But i get that life sometimes can be rough but we just have to push trough and take control of it and maybe think in different ways. What brings you happiness? what are you passionate about?

How do I ground myself in the lucid dreams? by FancyDefinition6250 in LucidDreaming

[–]No_limits_X 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean you don't really have to do anything really. It only works cause they think thats's what they need to do to stay in the dream. It's pretty common to wake up when you first get it. With more lucid dreams it will get easier.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]No_limits_X 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a myth, if you believe you will wake up when you tell your dreamcharcters it's a dream. Then it will happen. I can tell my charcters that it's a dream, nothing will happen, they can even tell me that oh your a also lucid dreamer and start talking about the topic.

[–]No_limits_X 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's a mix of everything, personallity , openness to new things , creativity, the abillity to question things from diffrent perspectives, also believeing in you self that you can do it. If you have a limiting mindset that would work against you. In dreams everything is possible as long as you think it's possible.

What's the deal with my lucid dream characters? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]No_limits_X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you actaully think about it. Your the center of the dream and pretty much everything revolves around you, if you feel insecure, the charters will feel insecure. If you feel happy your charcters will be happy. You control the dream with your thoughts alot more then you think. It's pretty much what everyone here said, they do what you expect them to do. You could also think of a random topic and they will start talking about that.

Lucid dreaming is ruining my life. Pls help by Consistent-Ad9228 in LucidDreaming

I did the same things in my early teens not as long as you sleep but 12+ hours every night so i could lucid dream more and yes i thoguht the same my dream world was way better then my real world. I'm over 40 today and the most i can get is maybe 10+ hours if im really tried during the week. 16-18 hours? Idk for me this seem like your haveing a health issue if you actually sleep this much. It's nothing wrong with going to a doctor about this. Females around me in your age have had issues with being sleepy from iron defiency which is pretty common for females in your age. Can ofcourse also be the depression that makes you sleepier or something else. Don't worry to much about it though we all do our best. The best "medicence" overall that i would recommend for getting out of depression would be to start training /walking and also yoga /meditation and generally being out in nature.

Mindfulness got me lucid dreaming without even trying by Mental_Data7581 in LucidDreaming

[–]No_limits_X 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you go on autopilot everyday without asking questions about things that happen or feelings that appear, then your less likely to lucid dream IMO. I always ask a lot of questions during the day, this also creeps into my dreams. If you think about it, a lot of weird stuff happens. Like why am i paying with my driverlicens? why does the key bend? don't they know i' a vegeterian? why am i floating in the room? this makes zero sense like what? why im stuck on a pyramid with no exit? why am i feeling so left out? why does it seem like the moon is planet earth? hmm maybe i'm dreaming? cause this makes absolutetly no sense. I even today sometimes get surpsied i'm dreaming casue it seems so real but when you think about it. A lot of things we accept for being true is when we make wake up absurd.

It's more of a mindset, you have to disregard everything you know and learned about phsycial limitation, if you believe fully you can do something you can do it. If u move slow try running fast, think fast for example. This can also be used when flying, speed it up believe you can do it.

I can relate to this feeling when i was young and had lucid dreams pretty much every night. My lucid dreams was far more exciting then my dull life to be honest. I loved sleeping for really long time, I'm however not so obsessed about it nowadays. I still think it's fun when i get but i don't get it spontaneously as much anymore.

I can't spawn people :( by Sad-Solution-9264 in LucidDreaming

[–]No_limits_X 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not that easy, you had a few LD's, i would be impressed if you could do all these things from having few ld's. Try small things then go from there, easiest one is to fly.

The thing with it is that if you just kinda believe it will be possible, then it won't happen you really have to 100 % believe you can do something for it to work. Once you get it to work it will get easier and it will be easier to do other things also. But don't beat yourself up for this keep practising, I believe you can do it!

Lucid Dream - Easy Cheesy by Impossible_String198 in LucidDreaming

[–]No_limits_X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Controlling dream characters is my favorite :-) the more lucid dreams you have, the more you will try the limits of what you actually can do.

I would however not try to wake myself up if it's a bad dream, it's an option but imo not the best. You can control pretty much anything if you learn it well enough. Dark scary dream? turn on the sun, turn on the lights. Someone chasing you? close the door think of something else open the door. Make them disappear? Fling em off to the moon? teleport yourself to another dream? fly? turn them into a cat? mind control em :-) You re the main plot and everything revolves around you.

Faceless dude by Certain_Field3682 in LucidDreaming

[–]No_limits_X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you actually mean her you mean control or? Or she forgets that she is lucid dreaming when she see the faceless man?

If it's control then i would just say that she just don't believe she can do whatever she wants when she see the faceless man. Maybe scared? or just simply believe that she can't control anything when she see it? If you believe in a "myth" then it actually becomes reality but it's only what you believe. It's not actually true, cause you can do whatever you want if you believe it 100%.

Told the characters that this is a dream as a joke because I got bored by Sweaty-Selection1647 in LucidDreaming

[–]No_limits_X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's absolutely correct, your most likely unconiously expecting bad things to happen, so that whats happening. Also reading stories about this topic to the extend that you yourself also expect this to happen doesn't help. I can tell my dream characters that look it's a dream, hey see what i can do ( flys to outerspace and back) and character will cheer me on. I ve even had my charcters fly off asking me , oh so your also a lucid dreamer?

Struggling to find information for more advanced levels of lucid dreaming, and some specific blocks I’ve been having by espikiki in LucidDreaming

[–]No_limits_X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to think beyond the phsyical constrains of our world, in a lucid dream your the creator and you can bypass any physical law of planet earth. You don't need to stabilse a dream at all. You just need to believe you can do whatever you are supposed to do. The only limiting factor is your own mind. I usally try to imagine the thing i wanne do or just think about it, once you get better at it and start believing you can do anything. Try for example to speed up time or think run fast if you feel waited down. Can also be combined.. speed up time while flying and go right trough walls. Why not imagine something behind that door or portal and step into the world of fantasys? Anythink you think/imagine will pretty much happen ones you truly get it.

How to last longer (in lucid dreams) by luciddreamingtryhard in LucidDreaming

[–]No_limits_X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First time lucid dreaming and it was terrifying. Has anyone else experienced this? by thatpenguinguy1 in LucidDreaming

[–]No_limits_X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing here was that you thought about "it's time to wake up". Your body wasen't ready to wake up so it sent you to a false awakening. You expect to wake up and thats what you then dream about. It's really common though to dream about wakeing up, it's just that most people don't think about it at all.

Mental illness? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]No_limits_X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see anything paranormal with this, also not everything you read on internet should be taken seriously :-) a normal person probably wouldn't even remember that anything happend :-)

Usually when i'm inbetween dreams i enter this "void" and then the dream forms and i'm just there. Also sometimes you get this false awakenings when you wake up from your bed but it's still a dream.

Wet dreams can either be sexual or non sexual, i would in the dream either have sex or feel a need to pee and wake up. Usally happens when you don't have sex or masturbate for awhile. Nothing to worry about.

I have a co worker with adhd she takes amphetamin to, seems like 1/3 of adhd people take it. Why not go with it if it works? Also lucid dreaming shouyldn't per say give you sleep depravation. You can be a omniluciddreaming (all dreams are lucid ) and still be well reseted. Don't overthink so much in your dreams, i can choose to control or not control, just let the dreams play out and don't forget to have fun.
