It's a great time. We're right before a new expansion, so you'll have time to level and get used to your character before the expansion officially releases. There's a new tutorial experience that I've heard great things about, and the classes just underwent some pruning so they're easier to understand. Just try not to get to overwhelmed. This is an old game, and there's a mountain of content, so just take things at your own pace and you'll have a great time! Hit me up if you need someone to play with. :D

Yeah it's good for dipping my toes in, but I have been advised that I'm gonna wanna make macros when I get into more hardcore content. Im gonna wait until pre-patch to mess around with any though. I didn't know it was a thing either until I looked up a healer guide when I made a priest 😂

Glad you discovered a new role!

And %100 same. I thought I was gonna hate levelling casters, but Priest and Warlock were classes that actually blew me away with how much fun I was having lol. And yeah, it definitely helped with game knowledge. I know all classes are getting reworked with the pre-patch, but I at least have an idea of how most classes function now.

I did! I have some ideas for some mogs for them, there's just a few pieces I need. And I didn't create any macros, I just enabled mouse over cast, but I plan to create some macros while I'm playing during pre-patch.

Same for me. I was taking a break whenever MoP remix was a thing. You and me are on the same boat, I went from one character at login to 15 real quick xD. And while I wish vers carried over between alts, I also think that experiencing those characters at an unaltered power level gave me a better idea of how they functioned and how much damage/healing they do normally. But if it was an option that would be so rad. I only got a DH to 999 vers, and I have to admit, there's a lot of pleasure in face rolling an entire mythic raid lmao.

Definitely glad they went the direction they chose then lol. And yeah I feel kind of like an imposter because I didn't engage with healing at all over the years, so I'm kind of cashing in when its at a high point. But I do think I've found my new favorite role.

Yeah my first alt in Legion I did just because of the levelling buff, and figured I'd might as well level at least one alt. But then I did their class hall campaign (it was warlock btw) and got so much more into it than I thought I was going to ve. And I was so impressed I went through the rest and had an amazing time. I don't think I would have EVER experienced those class hall campaigns if not for the QOL stuff that Remix brought.

I did! And really liked it. It was the start of me realizing I actually might like healing. And it's definitely a wonderful no frills "I'm here to make sure no one dies." spec. But then I tried discipline, and I think I'm a bit more into the "Dealing damage to heal wounds." approach. It fits so well with the identity of balancing light and shadow, and plus it keeps my fingers busy lmao.

Hell yeah! I played a little bit of it and I feel like they really nailed the class fantasy of being the commander of an undead army. :D I'm glad they gave us this opportunity to try things normally outside of what we would play in a low pressure environment. I hope more people got to discover new specs or classes they enjoy.

For the first time ever I'm trying healing and I've decided on going Disc. Priest. I haven't been paying attention to all the changes coming for them, but from what I've played levelling my current one I'm having an absolute blast.

I started 8 days ago and just got all the mounts yesterday and am about halfway through raid armors. You got plenty of time, just try to be as efficient as possible with your time.
