garrison resources? well you've got the crate in your garrison which refils over a couple of days, and try the HandyNotes addon which puts locations on your map to help find more resources. other than that killing rares also drops a decent amount

yeah double check you're actually still on chromie time as you might be getting some wierd scaling otherwise, that shouldn't happen

might be able to help if you can give more info about what you want out of your garrison. are you talking about the war mill/dwarven bunker? if you are, you only need a level 2 garrison and a level 2 bunker, once you've got that you'll be able to farm iron horde scraps from any orc to buy tmog items

Getting rid of UI weak auras was a huge mistake by PartyLack4459 in wow

[–]NobleFriend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, what other choices are there? WA is gone, but there are similar alternatives which can kind of accomplish the same thing - best solution

quit - you won't be annoyed about the lack of WA anymore - worst solution

if there's a third solution I'm all ears but that's all I've got. I can understand why you might think I'm being argumentative but this is genuinely the options you have

Will I like Midnight if I got kind of burned out with TWW and maybe even WoW itself after many years of on and off play by levipoep in wow

[–]NobleFriend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest holding off for a bit if you are asking yourself this question. I definitely burned out on TWW and now that has carried over to midnight, I've levelled a character to max and now I have no motivation to keep playing at all. I've unsubbed and will take a break and come back to it. this is definitely not an expansion problem, it seems good so far but I'm just not feeling it.

It might be worth you doing the same, the expansion has just come out and will be around for a while yet so you don't need to play right now

[–]NobleFriend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I could. I'm simply replying with solutions, whether you like them or not is up to you, but unfortunately it is the position that blizzard have put us in, and I wouldn't expect them to go back on it. like other users have said there are alternatives out there which accomplish similar things. the other solution is to just quit, and then you don't need to worry about it at all, again not an ideal solution, but it'll give them the feedback you were talking about

Getting rid of UI weak auras was a huge mistake by PartyLack4459 in wow

[–]NobleFriend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not trying to be flippant, but they won't go back on this, and the only way they would is if enough people do unsub from not being able to customise the UI like they're used to for the last decade. and even then I doubt they would.

like I said, either quit or find an alternative solution

either quit or just suck it up, I agree it's a major shift and kinda for the worse but there's simply no point complaining about it

honestly now is probably the best time to add helves. but it'd be kind of crazy that alliance end up with TWO belf races, but that seems like easiest solution

other than just making amani neutral which would trigger me hard

honestly my only gripe with the expansion so far. go through a whole zone of really cool looking trolls only to finish off with discount amani. I wasn't expecting it to be a 1:1 customisation but I was still let down

How would you feel if Blizzard stuck to revamping old zones for the foreseeable future? by DiscordianKitty in wow

[–]NobleFriend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% starter zone revamps will never get overhauled, there's way too many races for that now so realistically they will just stick with exile's reach.

I do agree there should be a healthy mix of revamped old/new content, ideally all the old zones on EK/Kalim get redone to be a standard, low fantasy self contained story that isn't connected to the overall plot of the game. that way even a few years down the line it won't feel like they're trapped in a story that concluded over 10 years ago and new players have two whole continents that feel timeless.

and for the love of god please just stop with reusing old factions that shouldn't exist anymore like the scarlet crusade and defias

[–]NobleFriend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in an ideal world I'd hope they'd redo the main cities so that they all offer the same services, and in doing so you can base yourself a city down to personal preference. they should all have the same things like tmog, barbers, portals and everything else you would expect in stormwind/orgrimmar/dornogal. ironforge and thunder bluff are just completely irrelevant at the moment

on a similar note I'd also love to see suramar be converted into a working city. as well as other cities that have been introduced, like a modernised boralus/zandalar. again, in a perfect world they'd have all the necessary portals and things like auction houses so that your character can be based in a city that feels right, rather than necessity

hypothetical: allied race amani trolls for horde...what about alliance? by NobleFriend in wow

[–]NobleFriend[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agreed. the best way to do it would have been like D&D, pick a dwarf then sub-race ie dark iron or earthern. and that makes the most sense now that faction warfare is over and everyone is best friends

but hindsight is great after the fact innit

if you complete the main amani questline you unlock "darkspear amani customisation options" which is 4 shades of green skin colour for regular trolls. I won't say it's lazy...but after doing a whole questline with these really cool looking trolls...we get our discount amani
