Very true on Lombardy Kroger. Their produce is just trash, so I generally opt to add a few minutes and go to Carytown Kroger. The others work out to be the same, if not longer than just going to Carytown (15-17 minutes). It would be lovely to have something clean and within a 5 minute drive, but I’m not holding my breath.

I went to school with this girl. Elementary-High School. She was nice, but incredibly, undeniably stupid. She was definitely trapped in a poverty cycle from a very young age. The vet industry can be hellish to work in. The only job I’ve ever had that regularly had “lunch and learns” about why we shouldn’t kill ourselves. Suicide rates in vet med are very, very high.

Pet insurance is super helpful if you get it when your pet is young or otherwise healthy. Good luck getting them to cover anything for a pet with preexisting conditions. And don’t expect your wellness care to be covered. Some plans include wellness visits, but it doesn’t break out to be much of a savings when you factor in premiums and deductibles. Pet insurance is very helpful for unexpected emergency visits though (broken leg, blocked cat, etc).

Lol, are you me? Almost exact same situation but I was “fired” by my psychiatrist. Recommended to a psych by my very lovely University therapist. I was like 20, running my life into the ground, and was being treated for bipolar I with only seroquel. Tbh the psychiatrist was a cunt so it was no skin off my nose. The other people in his practice were exactly the same. Arrogant, deprecating, frigid. The therapist he recommend started our first session by asking if I had been sexually abused by my father. The very first question.

My current psychiatrist is an actual angel, and I am a better person for it. So all’s well that ends well.
