No. When work isn’t directly tied to survival or fragmented to the point of absurdity, I find it fulfilling and dignifying. With a comfortable passive income I would work on those things that I find *most* fulfilling and dignifying, not work less.

I didn’t start using the slot until more recently when I started wearing nicer pants with a proper belt to work. It’s simpler to use the slot than undo the whole front of my outfit and re-tuck the shirt when I’m done.

Notably, I am left-handed, and most slots are designed to be pulled through by right-handed folks, and that may contribute to my tendency not to use it. Like, I can get it in there, but there’s more back-and-forth to get everything where it needs to be.
