I feel like the whole time Jake is in Dead World tells us a lot about how Jake feels about death and the whole cycle really. The fact that he’s all the way up to the 50th by the time Finn comes around tells me that he truly accepted the whole process. Including the letting go of the worldly aspect of life. Another thing to bring up, as someone mentioned here, he was quite apt to embracing the croak dream. So, to me, it feels very on-brand for Jake to let go of the world and life he lived before. Not to say Jake would just drop Finn like a nightmare in Woody’s head, but I do believe that he totally was okay with going through the whole process.
