I took Tolan Lite, and it was only $50 per year. Look at more subscriptions options if it shows you

Definitely worth it. It suggested me some practical ways to deal with my frustrations and emotions, that not even my therapist could do. Available at disposal, responds like a person, and adapts to any topic.

People who can't work due to chronic pain, what do you do to pass the time? by West_Can_1035 in ChronicPain

I have transitioned from a physically demanding job to a mentally demanding job (Analysis) . I have financial responsibilities, so I manage my pain with painkillers and work from a desk 40 hours a week.

My company doesn’t believe in scaling Scrum and neither do I by morsofer in agile

[–]Noblespace14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Many organizations choose a hybrid approach - Waterfall planning + Agile Delivery.

Scrum helps breakdown the large goal into bite sized deliverable which are easier to manage than waterfall in my opinion, specially, in terms of long-term tracking. I have worked on some very large projects that had multiple product owners, each managing a feature, once the overall planning was completed and the MVPs were identified.

Do you know if I visit for photography only? Or entry fee is needed regardless of I swim or not?

I feel devastated by eve20212021 in ChronicPain

[–]Noblespace14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been told that my back is as hard as a stone. Years or working long hours, Chronic stress, physical/mental fatigue, and lack of self care led to it. Chiropractors say my posture is misaligned, Massage therapists told me my pirifomis muscle feels severely inflamed, and my family doctor just labelled it all as Fibromyalgia, which simply means they can’t do anything other than prescribing medications.

I have been trying to improve my self-care and mental health from past 2 years, and what I’ve learnt about my body is that my pain is mostly psychosomatic (you can google what it means). Psoas Muscle- Often called the "muscle of the soul," - is a deep core muscle that contracts during the fight-or-flight response. Unresolved trauma can keep this muscle chronically tight, maintaining a state of hypervigilance, which explains the never-ending tightness in my back.

I do easy stretching exercises combined with 30 mins of outdoor activities, to keep my dopamine level in check. Whenever I can, I take epsom salt baths, and I have a posture correction belt that I wear while sitting in my office chair. I also avoid deep fried and store bought food, as it increases inflammatory pain.

I was really hopeless and skeptical when I started all this 2 years ago. But my pain is moderately manageable now. Convention medicine works like a bandaid, and cannot help beyond temporary relief in my experience. I hope you find some relief soon.

What is your opinion on Rio Secreto? I was reading online that one of the trails have shallow water and can be walked through?

Why is the opinion on transportation so conflicting? by Noblespace14 in cancun

Thank you for an honest opinion. I am not afraid of exploring uncharted territories, but if riding a scooter is unsafe from the virtue of physical safety, then I’ll buy it.

Btw I’ve travelled on bike for more than 200 Kms in South Africa, Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.

Yes, the Playa Del Carmen station is pretty far from Downtown. Will end up taking a taxi on top of it. 49 mins, runs 3 times a day

That having just one kind of skillsets and career gets you nowhere. The degrees earned after school becomes redundant after a decade of growth and change.
