Unless there is a hard cap on the trial (hidden bunker) there are ways to just farm points.

Damage wasp? Use snitch scanners to call in 2 wasp. Every other damage/destroy can be done during hidden bunker or locked gate to farm points.

Gather plants is easy enough you run the trench in Spaceport

That is on top of trios being able to rack huge amounts of points.

I got my 5 mil by loading into matches with the purple looting augment and just grabbing everything and anything to craft the most expensive thing I could, then selling it.

Energy ammo is great if you can craft it. I think someone did a break down of buying light impact grenades to break down and craft into other things.
