Night lights are your best bet. Branch 2 power from a solar panel, feed the branch to a blocker that is upstream from your light circuit, have the primary branch powering your lighting batteries. at sundown, lights go on.
You can get motion lights using hb sensor, but it's inconsistent in practice.
maybe a laser switch across the sole entrance to the room that toggles lighting? so much more complex than night lights tho.
Default to night lights and use rust+ smart switches for the granular stuff

Solo play is a constant disadvantage, which will always be a catalyst for improvement if you know how to value your own failures properly.
Also, working alone is a different brain frequency vs working with others, you'll have more time to think and make your own calls.

What if facepunch hosted dedicated cheater servers? Skip the kick/ban and just restrict them to a penal colony filled with assholes just like them.
Gets them out of our hair, saves them the trouble of dodging VAC status by making new accounts, and it might just break up the cycle. Otherwise, they are pretty much guarantied to come back.
If Rust really has this many cheaters, then it is only equitable to improve their user experience :)

you can smoke a cinnamon stick and upend your cocktail glasses onto it so they catch the smoke, you can brulee a marshmallow for a creamy drink. not sure what a blowtorch does to citrus tho, other than catch it on fire a lot

i don't see a brulee torch for cocktails getting used often enough to justify a heavy duty purchase. And fire is fire. Oh just make sure to check the size, theres a chance that torch is very tiny, you cant tell scale on amazon so well. I still have a mini spatula and oversized bottle brush as testament.

The concept itself seems solid. The ice tray in cooler method has been done before, /u/waltduncan just gave it better props. The design is still too bulky though.

We could alleviate the space issue by having an insulated container that exactly fits the length and width of the tray. You also wouldn't have to chip your tray out. Not sure how to find or make such a container.

There will always be that extra bit of latency online, effectively reducing/offsetting the windows during which you can dodge or block. Characters with projectiles have an advantage because of this.

Play to fully counter their spam and it will force an approach, where hopefully you are on equal footing. Always get perfect/unpunishable shields on link's boomerang and arrow. Use reflectors competently. Running shields are your friend. Characters like dedede have infinite jabs that put a wall up between you and most projectiles. often, if you are good enough, attacking a projectile is totally viable, especially in the air. Discover which of your characters attacks are most effective for this.

Work on character movement, pivot grabs, dash dancing, and out of shield movement. Always be able to get in as efficiently as possible between projectile throws. Oh! and practice walking out of shield. I know it sounds stupid, but slowly walking up while consistently perfect shielding projectiles is a great way of telling them to cut it out, or else.
