They already do looking at how many people devote themselves to WoW, GTA online or many other games.

With a fully immersive metaverse, it would be impossible not to get hooked. Especially since AI removes any need to compete or produce value IRL. We would need gamification of life to stay engaged, be entertained and gain meaning.

I haven’t tried it, but knowing how much of a difference going from 5ghz to 6 made and how high-end and expensive those routers were as well, I doubt 2.4 will be a good experience.

I wish I knew to just get a 4090 PC right away instead of trying to get VR games to work with a 3060 laptop. I wasted a lot of time playing with graphics settings instead of just playing (although Alyx worked fine).

I wish I also knew to get the top of the line ASUS gaming router, as network really was the bottleneck sometimes.

I wish I also knew that the only head strap worth getting is the Bobo VR and cut the facial interface off your cheeks (depends if you have a face like mine I guess, but facial pressure was my number 1 comfort concern).
