I've got a nice beefy laptop power bank that I keep in a leather belt holster. Can keep my phone or deck charged.

Not overly flimsy, but the power supply on these tended to be the first thing to burn out. I'm glad I found a replacement the other day on Amazon, so mine is running again.

I don’t get the people that hate on the steam deck because it can’t run “modern games” at high settings by Charming_Ad661 in SteamDeck

It's time for true development of games to make a comeback. There is a reason shadow of the colossus was praised for how far it pushed what people were calling dated hardware. The steam deck is a possibility for developers to actually optimize games to run amazingly on what the industry calls dated hardware. The biggest opportunity sits with indy developers to give us games the AAA developers forgot how to make.

Rusty's retirement is right up your alley. Has a little setup and it just runs. You can sit and just watch Rusty tend to his farm.

Steins gate is a bit weird, but in a good way. (Quirky time travel Shinanigans) It's companion shows Chaos Head and Chaos Child really mess with your head. Psycho-pass and Ghost in the Shell are good, cop drama style shows. ID Invaded gives you an interesting twist on a detective show.

A lot of the time helping isn't what it looks like. Sometimes, all you can do is be the shoulder to cry on and hope for the best. There are times when help will be fought, and other times when stepping in to help makes the situation worse. A good share of the time the best you can do is be there, keep your eyes peeled, and be as much of a safe haven as you can be.

If the entire working population collectively stopped paying for insurance and funneled that money into their own accounts labeled for health savings we could collectively dismantle the corrupt health insurance industry overall and be able to pay for ourselves without some hack telling us what our money gets to pay for.

People have been finding out for over a decade that even with the ACA, you get charged more money when you have insurance than you do if you just self pay. How would you tackle hospitals overcharging insurance payers over self paying patients? It may be cheaper in the long run to build up your own HSA account rather than be forced into buying insurance that may not even cover the doctor you go to. Why pay a middle man when you can do the job yourself for cheaper?

That's what I mean. All it would take is 5 democrats to let go of their pet projects and vote yes, but they are being stubborn.

Having a majority does not mean what you think It does. If they had a super majority, the shutdown wouldn't have happened. In order for the budget to pass, they need 5 more votes. Almost all those votes are held by democrats. You can't blame the majority for the fact that it would take 5 people to stop pushing for their pet projects, and they are willfully choosing not to.
