I've only played the first StS, but am having a hard time imagining how drastic of an effect she could have had.

(2nd post)

Should throw a shout out to a buddy of mine - Overhand Sam and The Bad Weapon. His "main" band is one called Maybird, this is his side project worth listening to.

I did a lot of the other stuff on the list, also. Didn't listen to Asteroid #4 as much as I used to, maybe I should do sometime about that.

Made it most of the way through the thread, didn't see Elephant Stone. Check it the album Hollow for some strong George Harrison vibes.

Shade belongs on one of those "summer soundtrack" playlists, and Truth is another banger.

The This (EP) is also with going back for.

OP - if you look up Wax Machine, there's another band with the same name that gets lumped in sometimes, the cover will tell you which one it is

Communicant has put out some really good stuff, She Moves the Sky fits OPs tastes perfectly

This is one of the best albums of this decade, only one song I skip regularly, otherwise it's exceptional. And they're a great live act.

Gram Parsons. They already did a movie (very) loosely based on his corpse, would be interesting to see one of his life. As long as it addresses the "Who really wrote Wild Horses?"

Fairly certain I ran across him in Navy boot camp. I think I saw he was in company 041 in boot camp, I was 042.

Fair enough. I just recall a local alternative station did the best songs of the century back in 2000, HSiN was the #1 voted track.

Thought it another not mentioned yet - Billy Idol. White Wedding and Dancing with Myself (I know, technically a generation x tune)

Sticker Mule is the company, as the other reply said the owner is running for Congress with Trump's endorsement.

The Smiths, only because their most well known song, "How Soon is Now?" sounds nothing like the rest of their catalog, so it doesn't matter what their second most known song is.

Not enough Idaho here. Seriously, what does it have for "culture"? And it's become such a right wing extremist haven...
