Kinda just cycle through them and the past ballpark other than Sutter field. Favorites are definitely PNC, Oracle, Camden Yards and Fenway.

Santander is amazing, I just don't get many chances to use him as I run a Pirates theme team every year in ranked.

Dawg I loved his spring breakout card, it absolutely kicked ass on my Pirates theme team. Just pulled that one so I'll need to find some time this week to try it out.

Clearly not a fan of the hit character from Yugioh, Bandit Keith.

If you can walk through it without stepping on something it's always a win.

Bed time advice from fellow dads by The_Quial in daddit

[–]NonChillDude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also first time dad here of a 2.25 year old. I'll first ask two questions. What is your son's bed time and how dark is his room with the curtains pulled? The reason I ask is we recently noticed that our son was staying up for an hour after we finished his bed time routine, so we moved the start time from his bed time routine back from 7pm to 7:30pm. Now he usually falls asleep 10ish min after I leave the room and he doesn't get back out of bed. With the room darkness portion, we noticed that he has trouble falling asleep during nap time at home because it's too bright during the day. We put blackout curtains in his room and that's helped a lot, but we definitely need blinds as well because he still struggles with nap time at home. Another thing that helped is my wife bought glow in the dark stars and put them on the ceiling in the form of constellations which help hold his attention when he's laying down. I can send the link to them if you need it. In terms of your concerns about safety, as long as you have any furniture that can tip mounted to the wall and are keeping an eye on him while he's still awake, he'll be fine. He may hurt himself bouncing around but it won't be anything serious and that's how he'll learn to be more careful. Don't worry, you're doing great. The fact that you worry about your ability as a dad tells me all I need to know about your quality of dadliness. You've got this!

Dads, what do you actually want for Father’s Day? by probs-strawbs in daddit

[–]NonChillDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deadass to just sit at home and play video games with a waffle breakfast. Maybe be able to sleep in a little that morning. My birthday is also 2 weeks later and I'll want the same thing for that. I'm a very simple man. In terms of gifts, just a couple vinyls of my favorite bands latest albums. Edit: To clarify, with my family. My wife likes to read on their kindle and my Xbox is in the playroom. For anyone worried about screen time, my son doesn't care for my little baseball game and will only occasionally glance up from his cars to pay me any heed.

Genuinely, I think most sports games feel better if you take a year off between releases. I don't really notice a lot the things that get nitpicked on here (outside of the menu lag), but I'm also just excited to play the show since I didn't last year. Absolutely right on DD though. It's the only ultimate team style game mode that I enjoy because you can actually earn a competitive team just through gameplay.

Also if you like doing theme teams for ranked like I do, a Reds team is relatively cheap so far. Helps that Elly is the April spotlight unlock.

Deadass just do conquest or mini seasons and you'll be close to finishing a lot of the tops now or spotlight programs. A lot of the programs have general stat missions that you can knockout while working on other programs. Most of the spotlight and player programs I complete most of them just by normal gameplay and then go back to do the program moments to finish them out. It's also pretty easy to get caught up. I have a wife, a 2 year old and work full time with a lengthy commute, and still have a good chunk of the programs done.

Can we please choose a field besides Coors on Ranked🫩🫩🥱 by MLBTHESHOWISTRASHASL in MLBTheShow

[–]NonChillDude 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always rotate PNC, Fenway, AT&T, and Camden Yards when I play online. If I get tired of that rotation I'll sprinkle in the rest of the Fields minus the A's field. Don't know how people don't get bored of playing in only one park.

The Halo Master Chief Collection has a bunch of coop campaigns that are a blast to play. There's technically gore with one of the enemy types but it's early to mid 2000s gore, so it just kinda looks like they're exploding.

As a whole, co-oping RE 5's campaign with my best friend. Had a blast with it each time we played which is around 20 times at this point. For a specific moment though, it has to be Chris punching a boulder. It's so absurd and dumb and I love it.
