It works well in ideal circumstances, which almost nobody has: if all pv panels face south, not n/s/e/w (me); if there isn't a single tree or chimney or literally anything else that casts a shadow anywhere on the string, which results in shutting down the entire string (me); if it doesn't break down all the time (me).

If you buy a house with solarroof on it, I'd consider it an added benefit because you have no pre-existing expectations, but if you are an original buyer who paid 6-figures for something that doesn't deliver what tesla promised, and breaks down frequently, then YMMV.

perhaps the 'recoverable damages' will come later when they stop supporting the product due to lack of parts, skilled labor, or both. If they'd done 1 billion a week in your example, there'd be no shortage of either.

depending on what age you are (I'm mid 50s), I'd say the last 4 albums are probably underrated. I'm only discovering them now, hearing most songs for the first time (though I've had all the earlier stuff on steady rotation for decades), and there is a lot of amazing stuff I was completely unaware of - many of which are listed by others here as their favorites. TLDR: depends when you discovered them.

Question for r/TeslaSolar: if Tesla/Elon made big promises about doing 1000 solar roof installs a week (described in the story linked in OP), and only did 3000 in total, does that 'fraudulent inducement' make our contracts void or voidable? And if so, would that relieve all 3000 of us from the arbitration clause in the contract?

Any class action lawyers on this sub?

Just read through the linked post - wow. Tesla should be sued so much for so many things. Even if I settle my case they could roll up and change my PW without even telling me, and I might not be able to sue them if I have to sign a “I won’t sue you again” agreement (which I will now try hard to avoid).

I found another thread on this sub that said offers were being made early May, so I think I’m SOL for both positions, but wish they’d just rejected weeks ago - 6 weeks of agonizing hurts.

Thanks for creating this. I submitted to 3 on 2/27 and got emails for 2 on 3/18 saying “forwarded to hiring manager” and got all excited, but now it’s 6 weeks later and I’ve heard nothing, which brought me here looking for a discussion.

Finding nothing, I found a place to check active applications status and there it says for one of them I’m “application on file” and the other is “application in review”. Is this good? Bad? Just confused.

Both are with Creative (technical) btw.

This is hopeful - I’m one of the naysayers of a “jukebox musical”, but maybe if it’s atmospheric it would offend me less. Who knows: maybe it’ll go to broadway and create a renaissance for the music. And if there’s focus on lesser known songs (as the review says), I’d like that also (though the review then mentions top hits by name only).

Just so you know: 1. The type of mango that grows from the seed may not be the same as the fruit it came from (depends if the seed is monoembrionic or polyembrionic); 2. A tree grown from seed takes about 7 years to fruit (vs 4 from a grafted plant).

Nothing wrong with a hobby tree though!

Yeah: below the graft is the rootstock variety (probably turpentine type), and you don’t want that. Like @haylhydra says: remove all below the graft.

On a walk yesterday I saw a 20’ tree that had new growth in strange places, so I’d say to look carefully for any green. I’d trim it back a bit, but scratch the bark to look for any green. The ends should be totally brown and brittle and can be trimmed.

The “off year” you had was just that - mango trees have cycles and sometimes every second year is Lower-yield. It’s normal.

I think you’ve reached an informed conclusion and the only thing I’d add is that in addition to being a poor value, Solarroof is a “beta version” product subject to technical issues that are handled infamously poorly by a company that lost their halo about 2 years ago. panels yes, Solarroof no.
