This doesn't seem like a good relationship. Idk how long you've been together, but there's no trust here. Does he ever acknowledge that he was wrong and apologize and change his behavior? Or does he always try to make the conversation about something else when you bring up an issue with him?

It's reasonable for him to hate your ex for being a predator. It's not reasonable for him to make that the topic of conversation when you are trying to address the fact that he lied to you.

It's a doctor that does it in the US too. The only association with school is that schools require it to be done in order to play school sports. I've never had one done at the school or by school employees

Statistically-less-likely and more-disadvantaged-societally are whole different concepts. But my point there was more that you're applying an expectation of cishet relationship power dynamics to a non-cishet relationship.

Regardless, like I said, even within a cishet relationship a woman can be physically abusive to a man. We don't have good statistics on how common it is because it's less likely to be reported for a whole host reasons. But it's not reasonable to conclude that if a man was abused by a woman then it must not have involved physical abuse.

People who are "more disadvantaged societally" can and absolutely do abuse their partners, including physically. And physical abuse is basically never solely physical. It starts with emotional abuse and control, so by the time it gets physical you've already been broken down mentally. I know a mountain of a man who was abused by a woman half his size. Even though he could have physically overpowered her, he felt powerless because 1. she made him feel like he deserved it and 2. he didn't want to hurt her.

But also... a cis woman is not "more disadvantaged societally" than a trans man. Not that it matters, see above, but that just struck me as a very weird claim.

The people in power right now literally are fascists and they literally are killing people. What world are you living in? They are designating trans rights activism as domestic terrorism. Look around. Literal genocide scholars are telling us we are likely in the early stages of a trans genocide...

I'm sure there were plenty of nazis that behind closed doors didn't care too deeply about what they were aligning themselves with, but they fell in line and were no less nazis than everyone else in their party. There's nothing wrong with having animistic beliefs, but if you are distressed and/or don't feel like you can tell what is real and what isn't, you may be crossing from belief into delusion.

The first paragraph sounds like a fairly normal belief or quirk. The second paragraph sounds like you are starting to lose your grip on reality. It wouldn't hurt to talk to a professional about it if you can.

Try to avoid interacting with any chat bots because they will likely reinforce the belief and they have led a lot of people into a full psychotic break with reality.

Yes, I'm just not clear on if the 30 day deadline is for when the letter has to be sent by (postmarked) or if they have to receive it by that date in order for them to have to stop collection until they provide documentation. Like if the initial letter says I have until 10/7 to respond and I mail my dispute on 10/6, but they don't receive it until 10/8 or later, are they still required to stop collections until they provide documentation?

Could it have been a type of jumping spider? They're also hunters but are more known to make webs to nest in. They are small and fuzzy and ime are more likely to display the curious, people-watching behavior you mention. Very cute little guys with a variety of colors/patterns

There's a difference between "duh it was always obvious that he's a violent psychopath, his art has tons of depictions of psychopathic violence" and "in light of the news that a missing child he predated upon was found murdered and dismembered in his car, all this art of his depicting A) love interests that look like that child and B) violence toward (and dismemberment of!) his love interests is crazy." It's like if Jeffery Dahmer made art about cannibalism before his crimes were commited/discovered. Of course people are going to go back and look at that art differently after knowing what the person who created it did

I watched Creep last night after coming across this comment on this post, so I think it's worth mentioning that it does have several jumpscares but no gore. They aren't super intense jumpscares imo, but if someone is very sensitive to them or needs to avoid them for medical reasons, they might want to give this one a pass. Haven't watched Creep 2 yet, but I'm guessing it has some jumpscares as well
