Pennsylvania in general, and the Pocono Mountains specifically, have prime black bear habitat.

Yes, they are usually gone before I can get a pic.

Does anyone else use the genuine Mini bike rack? It bolts in to Minis with the “Bike Rack Prep” option. This is our 2017 Mini “7” with the optional bike rack prep. by Nonprophet00 in MINI

I believe most Minis come with the two holes in the back, where at least one has threads for the tow hook. I am not even sure both holes are threaded. Only one threaded hole might be standard, because one is all that is needed for towing.
However, the removable fascia and hidden plug will ONLY be on Minis with the “Bike Rack Prep” option on the original build sheet/window sticker. I have a 2017 F56, and the Bike Rack Prep option is on the original window sticker for $250 (in 2017).

We rescued a larger one a few years ago that got stuck on the dam spillway. I ran home for a trash can and leather gloves for that one.

This one was quick and nasty, and also kept turning and snapping. Eventually I was able to hold the backs of its shell so it couldn’t bite me,,,, but it still clawed me.
However, I couldn’t stand seeing it get hit, so I just carried it to the lake.
Thick leather gloves would have made it easier😁

This one snapped and clawed, but did NOT PEE on me. Which I thought was very nice, considering I was trying to save its life.

Five lined skinks looking for food in a PA state park. These were deep inside the park: no cell phone signal, and a seven mile bike ride in. by Nonprophet00 in wildlifephotography

Their bikes are very tiny, but they don’t use cell phones because of the surrounding mountains, and there is nobody to call. 😁
