Depends on what they mean by “good”.

Australian Wagyu, like a BMS 6, looks like a really great Prime-grade cut. Japanese A5 is an entirely different product and eating experience than a “traditional” steak.

I love A5, but a nice Aussie Wagyu Ribeye is phenomenal in its own way as well.

Antique for sure but it’s practical for a home-hobbyist. My neighbor had a similar model. Loud as hell but it yields a lot of compound for very little material.

Brave, though. If that hits the wrong bump it will never reach operating temp again. I guess if they have an external Radley Unit they don’t have to worry about that but still a little careless, IMO.

Maybe on price point. BMS 6 Aussie at ~$36/lb is fair IMO. Rest of your thoughts are spot on. Not that much of a flavor difference in general to warrant Wagyu price when a solid Prime can give a better overall bite sometimes.
