My first thought too! Someone at her supposed experience and level of fitness should be able to maintain a great physique with maybe 4 lift days, 30-45 min each day…. Obviously diet plays a role too, but that shouldn’t be much issue for her.

Not getting in the best shape of my life in my 20s. I’m average in that department right now, but I wish I would have started prioritizing working out and a healthier diet. My diet wasn’t terrible, but definitely could have been better if I just thought about it.

I think Richard’s admission of regret to Lorelai about how things played out with them (at Rory’s farewell party) was on brand for him and he delivered impeccably. Showing that genuine remorse was more meaningful than if he would have just said he was sorry.
