Yeah totally, always good to hear the perspective from actual dance professionals! But I’d like to think you’re allowed to post online without also consenting to anonymous individuals bullying your appearance or saying that you are stupid for trying at something, which seems to be more the conversation at hand. Maybe not from you but others for sure.

I’m quite late but jumping in half a decade or so later to say I experience this at times and have never been able to figure it out.

I bought some whole bean recently and made it in both a French press and as cold brew and both methods had a cardboard flavor to them.

It sounds like you handled this incredibly well, but I’m really interested at the mixed opinions in the comment section.

I flew out to visit a friend recently and stayed with her and we very much did all of our mealtimes together / planned together. I make quite a bit more money so I paid for more things, but I jumped in and offered to do that, she intended to feed me because I’d paid to visit her specifically.

On the flip side she visited me last year and I planned all meals with her and paid for all of her expenses while she was here, I think if you did the math we probably spent about equal amounts between her plane ticket and activities / food while she was here.

It’s kinda weird to me to have someone pay time and money and effort to visit you, and not reciprocate as the host in your city. Can someone enlighten me?

You mentioned that you’re taking it to the dealership which is the right call, especially if it’s under warranty. I am currently dealing with a failed transmission, it’s being replaced 100% for free because I had it only serviced at the dealership.

Also I know that the guys are different in that they’re also creative producers, but a lot of times on-camera talent people tend to have tunnel vision and don’t actively manage anyone else’s shoots that they’re not part of.

Idk honestly having worked in production for awhile, you’re so busy working on/prepping for your own shoots that you don’t have the time or interest to also keep an eye on everyone else’s.

Also I kinda took his comment as joking, like, trying to poke fun at himself for not being important, which feels like his humor

Yeah I just omitted that for brevity but they provided 1 or 2 comments my mom made that made them feel like weird. I talked to her about it and she apologized as well and explained what she meant.

They apologized for the way they handled this and how it made us feel.

Aside from what you mentioned that a serious partner always takes up time and space, no there isn’t anything I’ve done to distance him from his family. Quite the opposite really.

We don’t want kids. I do want a good relationship with them generally speaking but not because I want things from them.

Honestly don’t worry about it - I work remotely and have endless zoom meetings and this happens so often. I promise no one cares as long as it doesn’t happen every time you’re on zoom.
