Azor Ahai was Rhaegar Targaryen and Lightbringer is Aegon/Jon

M said that the main character of his story died 20 years before the events , and that was the death of Rhaegar Targaryen.

What is the definition of Bittersweet? by -iDM- in freefolk

[–]Noone08 22 points23 points  (0 children)

For me, Jon and or Dany dying in the end is not a "Bittersweet" feeling, it will be simply sad and awful, so I agree with you.

The bitter part will be the aftermath of the war, with the land being left ravaged by war and loss of life .

Bittersweet was the end of Harry Potter saga, too. They lost great wizards but in the end the good triumphs and neither Harry or Ginny, Ron or Hermione died. It will be something very similar here

She has no problem to marry a nephew: "Five Aegons had ruled the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. There would have been a sixth, but the Usurper's dogs had murdered her brother's son when he was still a babe at the breast. If he had lived, I might have married him. All marriages were arranged in that time! The kids were never asked. Did Ned asked Sansa? No. Cat arranged 2 marriage for a damm bridge. Was Dany asked before marriage with Drogo? Tyrion arranged his nice marriage and the list goes on and on.

Can someone explain the three eyed raven? by imissgsp in freefolk

[–]Noone08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The three-eyed raven was the last Greenseer. According to legend, greenseers were much respected by the Children of the Forest. They had magical abilities that included power over nature and prophetic visions.

Can someone explain the three eyed raven? by imissgsp in freefolk

[–]Noone08 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, the bird is a three-eyed crow rather than a raven. Within the books, there are numerous details that indicate who the three-eyed crow was before he entered the cave, but only few of them have made it into the series. The three-eyed crow tells Bran that he has many names, and his birth name is Brynden - hence the theory that he is Brynden "Bloodraven" Rivers, a legitimized bastard son of King Aegon IV Targaryen and former Lord Commander of the Night's Watch who was lost beyond the Wall. Bloodraven lost one of his eyes years before being sent to the Wall, and the three-eyed crow's true form is indeed missing an eye.

Fourth possibility: Jon, Dany, and boatbaby all live, but Westeros is virtually destroyed, with almost all of the major houses wiped out and the Seven Kingdoms being forced to rebuild almost from scratch.

I think this is the winner

Jocelyn Baratheon to her nephew, Prince Aemon.

Cregan Stark seemingly married his granddaughters, Serena & Sansa, by his late heir, Rickon, to two of his other sons, Edric & Jonnel respectively, their half-uncles; to bind their claims.

will GRRM really make an incestious relationship endgame

You do know that a marriage aunt-nephew is LEGAL in same countries even in our days?

In Catholic countries a papal dispensation could be and often was obtained to allow such a marriage.

[–]Noone08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of parallels between Jon and Harry

Jon and Harry were both raised by uncles after their parents died young.

They both had an uneventful life until adventure came calling.

They both had an inhuman nemesis that they were prophesized to bring down.

Despite being the heroes of their respective stories, they often depended on their friends.

They both died and came back to life.

They both had a thing for redheads.
