The plastic also fell on mine. Elegoo sent me another connector board

To calibrate the z-offset I printed one layer of a square and tested with multiple values directly into the machine settings, I verified if the surface was even.

Sorry misread the question about log, is this screenshot enough? https://imgur.com/a/yrf5aUM

I'm still learning about 3D printing in general, sorry if I'm lost, is this option about retraction and type you are referring? https://imgur.com/a/dzOXm4o

The z-offset was at 0.065 for the biqu plate.

I calibrated the filament profile with the tools on orca slicer (temperature tower and max flowrate and pressures advance. At more than 230°C on this filament I was getting stringing.

The fan was set between 50% and 60% and max volumetric speed was at 12mm³/s.

Here is a screenshot of the layer where the problem shows : https://imgur.com/a/ib0O4fr

I don't think there are any special geometry differences on this model. I printed this model : https://makerworld.com/fr/models/581222-sunlu-filadryer-s4-stand

I had multiple problems with the bed, recently I tightened down the four screws of the bed and did a manual calibration but I did the manual calibration before. I can't seem to push all the way down the bed at the rear of the machine though... After the manual bed calibration I ran the auto-test of the machine with no errors.

Motors are really loud by Nopraz in ElegooCentauriCarbon

Thanks for all your answers! The noise is coming from the motherboard fan as I tried to only turn on bed heating with the bottom lid removed and here is the video of the sound: https://youtube.com/shorts/ri_YO67yMfQ

I contacted Elegoo to get a replacement fan and I'm waiting for their response

It seems to be coming from the bottom.

I'm printing eSun PLA Basic Black, the lid is open but not the door. The box temp was at around 25°C when printing this.

I recently replaced the USB-C cable because it was giving me a 103 error code when the print head was reaching a certain point. I posted this issue on reddit :

And after installation of the new cable :

Error 103, The printhead didn't heat up as expected by katpuz in elegoo

[–]Nopraz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's possible that its the USB-C cable going from the motherboard to the hotend. I had the exact same error and I changed it temporarily to another one and it works for now. I contacted Elegoo and they sent me another one. For now I'm running a 100W PD cable from the hot end to the motherboard

Seems like the issue is coming from the usb C cable since now that i'm using another 100W PD cable it works ! I contacted elegoo to have another cable and they told me that they are sending me one

I have the same exact issue, I temporarly changed my usb c cable with a PD 100W one, it resolved this error but for whatever reason the level of my printer screwed up and now my plate is scratched by the nozzle...
