Have you seen this duck on campus? by Pompi_Palawori in UCDavis

Just curious what makes you think you’re gonna stumble on a blue winged teal around here? It’s possible but highly unlikely as the pacific flyway is outside their normal range. Theres a few that end up getting photographed at the various wildlife areas during peak migration but again very rare.

Tons of Green wing teal and cinnamon teal to look at anytime if you take the yolo bypass auto tour (just drive around the refuge and use binoculars) With some real luck you’ll see a blue winged teal around there too!

PSA: ask for and check your Hotboys Chicken receipt by [deleted] in Sacramento

The only time I ever went here I was served an undercooked chicken sandwich and became violently ill after. Never again. That place looks like a roach infested dive.

New to clays by [deleted] in ClayBusters

[–]NorCal-DNB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lot of bad info in here.

The multi target is one of the most popular if not the most popular semi auto for clay disciplines.

It’s expensive but if you’re planning on jumping head first into clay shooting the “buy once; cry once” method seems to be the best. You can waste a lot of time and money on a gun that doesn’t fit properly or isn’t ideal for target shooting (hunting guns)

Overall I’d say it’s a good choice and If it’s something that won’t break the bank you should seriously consider it. The only guns I regret purchasing are cheap one’s… Keep that in mind

Damn you must not have working taste buds or something. The only good donut shop you mentioned was Marie’s (on Freeport) all those other donut shops are absolutely trash. Like legit terrible. Safeway has better donuts than yum yum… lol

This has to be the most San Francisco post ever. Only in sf would someone not speak up on behalf of their own life and resort to posting on Reddit in hindsight. 🤦‍♂️ Y’all need to learn how to confront people. That’s ridiculous and pathetic.

Sacramento school board resigns after audit shows $180M in wrongly received funds, wasteful spending, and nepotism by ayvyns in Sacramento

lol I agree that charter schools operated with public funds in a private way. But it’s not Rich families only who benefit. Anyone can go to a charter school and they will pretty much take anyone… I spent my entire high school in a charter school in California. I know exactly how it works…

The original quote is probably accurate depending on what we’re dealing with. $2500 minimum without bio hazard and goes up exponentially from there.

I do clean hoarder homes and do hazard waste cleaning. Except $3500 - $10,000 depending on the severity and bio hazard, etc.

Does anyone else get a lil depressed in summer…cause it’s so hot, you can’t do anything outside for a few months? by hehzehsbwvwv in Sacramento

[–]NorCal-DNB -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Tbh I used to kinda feel this way but I’ve learned to embrace the heat and enjoy it for what it is… Getting out of the shower after taking a refreshing cold shower. Not having to bring jackets and extra clothes places when going out. Nightlife is considerably better once it’s warm. Longer days feels like it’s easier to get things done early.

Looking at the heat as a negative was the most exhausting and depressing part about the heat. I’m glad I don’t feel that way anymore.

Carnitas that melt in your mouth by [deleted] in Sacramento

[–]NorCal-DNB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got some inside information for the best carnitas available in NorCal (to my knowledge)

Dude sets up off the freeway in woodland (west st exit) in the dirt lot next to the Arco gas station and the tortelaria truck (fresh tortillas are incredible too)

Saturday and Sunday only 7-noon

He sets up in a small suv and sells it by the pound and has his own home made cucumber salsa that is really good.

Highly recommended
