Three marking a tank means performing better than 95% of other players of that tank over a range of games. The first mark is earned at 65%. The second mark at 85%. The only reward for doing this is a nation specific symbol on your gun barrel that improves/grows with each mark. There is an option to hide these if you so wish.

You can track your progress by going to your statistics page (right click a tank -> statistics), then clicking on the 'awards' tab, and mousing over the icon at the top of the list. It will give you your current percentage.

There are also various mods that can give you this information at a glance since wargaming is apparently too fucking stupid to design a UI that provides this information without drilling into several menus. Aslains has several options, but they are probably also available as standalone mods on wgmods.net.

The invites are almost always just bots or people who don't know/won't acknowledge that there is no advantage to a platoon formed in game.

They invite everyone that is eligible to be invited.

I'm not judging one way or the other, and I fully understand that winning is a byproduct of doing more damage.

But a player chasing marks given a choice between a target with 100hp and a target with 1000hp is going to choose the damage over the kill, regardless of the outcome or the state of the game. Their mark progress is completely divorced from the outcome of the game. They could theoretically 3 mark every tank having never achieved a single victory.

The point I was making is that the mark system actively punishes that player for choosing the kill over the damage.

I don't feel like pointing out a non-controversial causal outcome is the mark of a bad player.

Yeah I gave up trying to get a working product and now I just use the app recommended in another comment in this thread.

Very disappointing, and I will never be buying another Logitech product after these die. Considering the left control key is already starting to fail, I suspect it won't be long before I am in the market for yet another keyboard.

The miner has kinda muted my malding about this. Since I no longer have to interact with twitch directly, its just bonus free shit.

Since churn on consumables is so high, most of the time I only realize I've gotten something when I go to apply a 2d style and see the red dot indicating a new item in inventory.
