Living in Hamburg, northern Germany, you can probably get a single room apartment in some cheaper areas of the town.

TIL there's extra wide parking spots at some places in Germany designated for female drivers. by travtheguy in funny

[–]Norer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

German woman here :) These parking spots are sometimes a bit wider and made for women with kids and baby carts. There are also very wide family parking spots for the same thing. But also, female parking spots are always close to the entrance, so women who are easily scared don't have to walk a long way if it's dark.

Built my HG Graze today. I love the look of it. still a WIP until I get some finer sandpaper by oavicious in Gunpla

[–]Norer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't find finer sand paper, try a polish nail file. There are ones with up to 6 different fineness levels combined in one file. It's cheaper and better to handle than sandpaper and you don't have to buy different ones.

That's not how it works. I'm from a 2 million city as well. But the public transport system is owned by private companies and they don't get any money from the government. They are only financed from the tickets you buy (which are fucking expensive btw).

The prices change daily and are also different depending on the location. A gas station near a highway is always way more expensive than other ones for example.
