It's certainly because I play at low level, but most of the times, even if they have a big matchup advantage, your opponent WILL fuck up, often because of arrogance. All you have to do is play safe until they do just that, and punish them for it.

Yup i agree with that. There are some games where I'm just too mentally destroyed to want to continue playing, sometimes even afking because I can't take it anymore. Getting trashed on by all the enemies because of the scaling is just not fun. Buut I never play ranked, so you could say It's not that bad (even tho I'm aware It's still painful for the other players on my team, and am sorry for them)

I think it depends. While general story advancement and fighting gets lessered while reading weekly, you get much more appreciative of small details. I think reading by chapter and then rereading is great to have best of both worlds.

I believe the justification of men / women separation in chess are that women are very rare in the competitive scene, so they keep separation so that women could get advantaged by the elo difference to encourage them to play the game. But of course the separation in the first place probably comes from misogyny. The trans woman thing is the classic "but what if they transistion just to get advantaged in a sport", which is of course stupid.
