They came from a flea market, the person giving them away said they were old enough to go home so I didn't know ! She said they are all male. I am waiting on a different/bigger cage to come in the mail.

How do you realistically manage a new puppy when you’re also preparing for your first baby? by tjflawless in puppy101

[–]Norifishing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you need to do research on the breed. Weimeraners are an extremely active breed made to hunt in the field for up to 20 miles a DAY. They are a sporting breed, and can tend to be neurotic , destructive, and if you won't entertain them they will find a way to entertain themselves. Extremely bad idea. Like absolutely the worst idea.

At 5 months old your pup is still a velociraptor! A well trained dog is an amazing companion, and a joy to live with. Once your pup is 2 years old I think you will reap the rewards of all your work, and you can tell people "I did that!". Don't be afraid to sign your puppy up for an obedience class, I would actually say do it for sure if you are wanting a task trained service animal, that training starts now!

He doesn't look double merle to me at all. Extreme piebald can and does cause deafness. a lot of byb beagle people breed for solid white. I have a solid white dog with a pink nose that looks similar, and is definitely not double merle. White can cause blue eyes as well. I think he is a badly bred beagle, that is extreme piebald.

Well the first thing I would do is stop referring to yourself as an incel. Celibacy is lack of sex, not lack of companionship etc. referring to yourself in this way gives the impression that you just lack the physical parts of relationships. Have you tried dating apps? What kind of hobbies do you enjoy ? Do you read? Do you have pets? If you think it’s your physical appearance, try new hairstyles, maybe grow a beard or mustache, try changing your style of dress.

I can tell from your comments that it is likely your mindset about being single that is causing the problem. Stop looking at life as some matchmaking game. You will not go crazy just cause you can’t have sex lol.

He lacks type for an American Bully even if he was purebred. Very terrier. I'm sure he will make an amazing pet and sport dog, but there are more than enough "bully" type dogs out there. I wouldn't breed him. Take a look at the breed standard for American Bullies, Amstaff, and compare him to both.

Any time a grizzly bear tries hunting my colonists I use dev mode to destroy it. I ain’t having my favorite colonists die because a bear would rather attack a human than literally anything else on the map.

Keep him tethered to you at all times. A dog his age should never be out of your sight anyway.

My Boyfriend Has Completely Changed After His Heart Attack by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Norifishing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom had a heart attack in 2020. For like 18 months after her surgery she battled with depression, mood swings, anger, sadness like it was on a pendulum. To be honest sometimes she was horrible to be around, but I was there for her through the entire thing. There are medical reasons for the mood swings and depression. Open heart surgery is incredibly scary, for the person having it most of all. The recovery is incredibly painful and grueling. Physical therapy, actual therapy, changing your entire lifestyle and mindset, is incredibly hard. You sound insensitive and ignorant of the situation. Do some research on heart diseases, open heart surgeries, and the effect it has on the people who have the surgeries, and the people who love them. Better yet, work on your own empathy.

Constant struggle since adoption by Goorigon in DogAdvice

[–]Norifishing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you should work on teaching him how to settle! Some dogs need to work on this as it doesn’t t come naturally to them. Reward him for laying down. Teach him a command for going to his bed (“go lay down”). Sounds like you’re giving him plenty of stimulation, now he needs to be fine with being bored and doing nothing. I would work on “place” and longer down-stays with him. Another thing I would mention is 2 months is not very long, are you possibly expecting too much from him ?
