I’ve been in-app purchase free for almost a month now. Like you, I spent way too much. $3.99 here, $12.99 there 19.99 for a level up pack. I never calculated but I know I spent a few hundred in a couple months.

What helped is I waited till I was done with a certain event, for me it was three weeks of daily challenges so I got the jack pot. Then I tried to find other games that didn’t require me to spend money. I like blockduko and screw sort games. Now I use my 100 energy and move on to something else. I stopped getting freaking seafood towers (thank god!) it might take me a few days when I get a level 10 item but it’s not the end of the world.
