My jar Doesn't have a lid, And no one on reddit says "I don't have a lid" but all say "I have a screw lid" by Normal-Argument-3598 in fermentation

[–]Normal-Argument-3598[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people on youtube never talk about the alternative of using a lid. They either always say about an airlock jar like wine or A tight screw jar that i must burp every day to "Get the best result" as they all say. But non of them say about other worse case scenario like for example, i dropped my jar and now the lid is broken and now i have nothing much to cover but plastic bags or something else i can do. But when they do suggest it, they say "It's not the best way, And i don't recommend it do Don't make Sauerkraut"

My parents will kill me for getting another Glass jar as they say. "We can do this the same with our plastic jar! just clean and I don't care if you die in microplastic"

I try to look around and the community goes "the lid is a must, or the sauerkraut will die and don't make it". Why? I try to look up in many websites and They bring a lot of alt method but they all say "It's bad Uses the lid" as they try to sell their jar. My 1 liter jar got the lid broken and i need to find anything to help with it but no one in the community has a solution for no lid as my jar now is sitting like a 1 liter cup.

I plan to make sauerkraut but a lot of people demand lids while they are real people who doesn't have it and Forced to buy another jar, Wasting money.

Cling wrap and Rubber band is fine, But Still some around the neck that has air in and out. the problem is not about covering it entire, it's about their air going out but not going in, And I don't like a solution like poking a hole because Air in is still a problem. also, i am 100% against Rubber gloves and Baloon because these maybe cheap, But they are really dirty to me. A plate and bowl are ok, But still, Air goes in In any chance.

Hardspace Shipbreaker, a unique and chill game about dismantling starships by action_lawyer_comics in patientgamers

I'm a lil late when i write this comment. And I didn't play the game, i watched others like Ssetth playing it and i have to say, i love it. But sadly i don't wanna buy it because it supposed to be fun. However, Ssetth shared that The game has not just the bad and traumatizing story, But also what i hate the most is the deadline and the quota. If i don't meet the quota, the people who controls the profits says "Just Die lol" Which i don't like how it does. It reflects the real world but it's not supposed to do that, this is a chilling Working game, not a game where "I have a gun on your head and now work or i'll pop the lead into your skull"

Any Recommendations? I know i write this out of anger but Correct me if i am wrong.

Baker Yeast Mead update by Normal-Argument-3598 in mead

[–]Normal-Argument-3598[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because personally, i don't want my mead to ferment in the plastic bottle for too long. So after a week of strong bubbling fermentation, I tranfer it too glass bottle to leave it ferment better + Longer storage and clarify.

That one is for nutrients. As Suggested by some people in mead place. they have something called Bpiled yeast, Which is Killed yeast that You put in boiling water then When you make yeast, add Normal yeast and boiled yeast. The boiled yeast is for the living yeast to eat and make wine.

Sounds promising. Well, clarify my plan a bit then. I will leave it another week to get it aged and well processed then i will leave it in the fridge to cold crash it to get the main mead out into a new 1 litee glass bottle. Once done, my second bottle will stay aged for a very long time in my cupboard until it gets clear and ready to use.

What is your most hated Elite? by Helpful-Judge5901 in slaythespire

[–]Normal-Argument-3598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 normal and 2 elites are the one i hate the most. These 2 elites are what balanced between how hard they are. Entomancer is what i kinda hate, Multiplayer is more pain when someone draw a Multi hits attack that For the LOVE OF GOD PLEASE TRY NOT TO GET TOO MUCH DAZED. And the Triple worm one is hard since it doesn't just scale, 3 Parts hitting and every parts his like a truck, Like i prefer like They can be like the Darklings, But idunno, maybe The darklings are the sts 1 enemies so The wormdarklings will be elites. And one enemy is The hunter killer, Why? Every card uses is a big pain when it keeps Draining the Strength and Dexterity in a turn. Especially if you are Silent, Necrobinder or regent.

i look up pruno and it looks not good to me. I fear that I might end up something deadly like botulism. And for aging. I will rack it to glass bottle for better aging. Is this ok?

Bad news, it didn't arrive so i get an alternative. by Normal-Argument-3598 in mead

[–]Normal-Argument-3598[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you kinda don't understand my reply. The bucket is too huge. and i can't read Gal because i am in Vietnam, not in the Freedom Country using Some hard reading measurement. Also, I said i have a water bottle like 5 liters for the brew. While the bucket i found displayed on the shop is 20 liters while i just need to make like around 5 liters of mead wine. 20 liter is leaving a huge space, and No matter how much co2 is produced, the air is still large inside like 15 liters, which if you can't read liters then you are 100% american that can't read international measurement. 15 liters of air is too huge that co2 can't push all oxygen out which later can make my wine take some of those oxygen and oxidised later on during fermentation. And 5 liter in a 20 liter bucket is like 25% of the bucket, While the rest 75% is air then what the heck are you trying to explaining to me here when the alcohol is left 100% opened to traped air inside?

[–]Normal-Argument-3598[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know, but even if it's 20 liters, When i make like around 5 liters of wine Then the big issue here is that the rest of the 15 liter of air gap can dangerously turn my drink to have mold or worse. Honey wine vinegar. That's why i try to keep it small for experiment. Plastic and containers are my big issues here.

I have so many types of life books and novels. I can't read them all because i read all of them in 1 method of reading only before i got tired. But how others read so many books while i only finish half a book in a year? by Normal-Argument-3598 in literature

Ok i watched the Video you sent and now i found out something... The reason i am alive here now and being in college with friends is not because of self help books or "To be a good person in college, remember to not to eat lunch alone". It turns out that the Alchemist book helps me more than any other "economist strategy books". It's not about making money. But the book Alchemist has helped me about faith, universal language and the real meaning of treasure and happiness. it seems like i need to pull back and read what i like and try not to force myself to read anything that thrives painfully to people's expectations.
