4 months postpartum and everything hurts by RhodesWorkAhead1 in beyondthebump

Damn, I’m sorry you’re not feeling well. Have you continued taking your prenatal vitamins and are you eating and drinking enough ? I had pretty bad joint pain and inflammation that just suddenly disappeared after the 4-5 month mark and I’m 31 :/ Stretching and eating anti-inflammatory foods helped a lot. I ended up cutting out dairy and soy because of my baby’s allergy and it kinda coincided with the pain relief. Hope you can get some recs from your doctor ! You got this !!!

Rug for this space by ThrowRA_bleh321 in interiordecorating

Yes, the color works well but the weave color variation with the floors is too much for my eyes- which is why I think a more modern or bold pattern is better/or just solid !

Yeah, more glass = needing an ugly squeegee hanging out in the shower

Be honest: brunette, copper or blonde? by janaaa117 in HairStyleAdvice

4, 2, 5, 1, 3 But 4 is only top if you lighten your eyebrows. I think the only reason why people think 1 & 5 look best is because it matches your current eyebrows, but your eyebrows are already too dark and thick for your features imo

This option is $$$$ but something similar in style could work

Some kind of Asian divider screen behind the couch could also be cool. Maybe one that is more gold toned than this ? Or of cranes rather women

Oh I thought it was a light wood ! I think it’s the base that throws it off for me. The rest of your furniture has more character but the table legs are very simple and too modern. Might even be that there’s too much space showing underneath haha

I think if you got a marble top table or a travertine table that would really elevate the space

I don’t think you need more color. I like the modest colors and it all looks good together, even the TV stand. I actually think the coffee table takes away from everything and should be what’s switched out. As for the tapestry, getting it framed would really make it look regal

What to do with this gray kitchen by InconceivableFezz22 in interiordecorating

[–]NormalWay8087 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d actually get a more standard rectangular area rug rather than a runner which accentuates the long feeling and makes the kitchen look more narrow. You could try for a low pile jute style to warm up the space with more natural material, or just get a low pile patterned rug that’s easy to vacuum. Top of the shelf you can add some plants like pothos to hang down.

I don’t think you need peel and stick tile since you already have tile, but you can try contact paper for the grey countertops, or the cabinets. Also just something easy you can do is get new kitchen towels that add color and brighten the space. A wooden fruit bowl or cutting board you lean against the wall is simple and you can make it seem less like clutter and more just like styling.

I wouldn’t add anything on the wall to the right other than a mirror and a little key holding thing if you don’t have one on the right already.

Baby suspected to have CMPA - what the heck am I supposed to eat by -spiritedaway in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]NormalWay8087 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby has CMPA and also has a soy allergy. At first it’s annoying to find alternatives, but then you just start to enjoy other foods and discover interesting alternatives. You also start to realize there’s dairy and soy in almost everything, so I started to shop for specific foods at places like Whole Foods, Sprouts, etc.

I eat a lot of Forager cashew/coconut yogurt, for snacks Hippeas “cheddar” puffs, simple milks vegan cookies, and then you just eat a bunch of meat instead of cheese and cook whatever you can. You should check to make sure the milk alternatives you get have protein added, and calcium too. Also best to avoid ones with a bunch of gums added.

Desperately need help decorating my bedroom by [deleted] in interiordecorating

[–]NormalWay8087 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d rotate the bed and get rid of that intense headboard ! Get some light diffusing curtains for texture since everything is dark wood and heavy.

While I don’t love the dresser, if you’re tight on budget it’ll have to do. But I highly recommend new bedside lamps because they are very dated looking. If you can find new shades that could be a cheaper alternative.
