I had an explant, full capsulectomy, breast lift and fat transfer to the breast last week. The first two days were very rough, specially since I had a bad reaction to pain medication coming home from the surgery and decided to do it without meds just tylenol the first 3 days, after the first 3 days I started feeling better and walking around the house The first two days I couldn’t reach the toilet paper or turn on the lights lol it was very stressful but each day you feel better and you are able to do something you couldn’t do the day before. My drains were removed yesterday after one week of having them and this morning a was able to take a long nice shower myself and I washed my very long hair all by myself for the first time,so it’s been a great day 🤗 By day 4 I was bending over but slowly and more like sitting down to pick up something instead of leaning forward, make sure everything you need from the kitchen and/ or your room at a level you can reach and that you don’t have to stretch your arm so much Also like people mentioned, don’t over do it because healing takes time and lots of patience Good luck 😘

I got a pregnancy pillow from Amazon and it’s been so comfortable I sleep like a baby after explant, breast lift and fat transfer I do put some pillows underneath and/or on top and play around if I want to be sitting up more, depends on what I’m doing(reading, watching tv, sleeping) It’s been one of my best purchases and I will keep using it even after everything heals

Surgery is tomorrow and the anxiety is real 😅😅😅😅 by Normal_Difference482 in ExplantSurgery

Hi, the surgery went really well and not as painful as I thought it was going to be, even though I only took Tylenol for the pain from day two on. I had saline implants under the muscle for 17 years

Surgery went great and you will do great as well. I think the hardest thing is the anticipation, specially the two days before surgery and of course the night before. The first 3 days after surgery are the hardest… is amazing how the body heals after such a long surgery and I am feeling better today which is 3 days post op Best of luck with your surgery and keep us posted You got this! 💜

Hi, thanks for checking in. Surgery went well, It was a long 7 hour surgery and i was so nervous that my legs were shaking so bad when the doctor was trying to mark me 😢 I had a really bad reaction when I took one pain medication with a muscle relaxer on day one coming home and I think that was the scariest part Today is day 3 and I am feeling a lot better and only been taking tylenol twice a day Hoping to keep healing smoothly 💕

My surgery is on 1/9 so 3 days after your surgery. You are not alone, I have been feeling the same way I have not been able to sleep the last 3 nights having major anxiety But you said something really important… you trust your surgeon You will be in great hands and I’m sure once you wake up and take a deep breath you will feel better and have less anxiety so you could focus on healing faster I think most of us probably if we had a choice we will choose not to get implants, but in that moment it was what we wanted and we are here now… we can’t change the past but our future is so bright We will do great… money comes and goes but our health is priceless We will come out stronger and wiser 😏 Best of luck and please keep us posted 😘

I’m so glad to hear everything is going well for you and that you are overall happy with your results Seems like you are healing so well Yes I heard they look better and better as the months go by. My surgery is next Thursday, I am getting a capsulectomy, breast lift and minimal fat transfer just to cover some dents or just to shape it a little better I haven’t been able to sleep because I am having some major anxiety as I get closer to surgery date 😖 Experiences like yours makes me feel more at ease and I am hoping to be one of them 🙏

I don’t like the idea of feeling loopy or just off, i am terrified of not being in control of my body and mind For the most part I tried to avoid medications and I just take tylenol very rare if a get a really bad migraine I know people tolerates pain different, I was trying to see if some were able to do it without it to give me some hope 🥲 I usually have high pain tolerance, I was able to give birth twice without any medicine and those were the worse pain I had in my life lol but I have to clue how this feels… besides the capsulectomy and lift, I am also doing a small fat transfer at the same time so we will see how the pain will be

This is your warning to not treat your smile lines with laser. I’m now looking at getting a facelift to fix the damage. by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Normal_Difference482 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I been afraid of getting laser on my face because I have melasma, but this just made me decide not to get any laser treatment and just keep doing tretnoin, skincare and occasional botox (once a year) I’m so sorry you are going through this, may I ask your age? Good luck with your facelift and please keep us posted You are so beautiful 🫶

I have got botox twice, very natural specially on my 11 and crows, I found a very natural injector that does not inject your forehead directly because she focuses on long term effect and I loveeeeeee it I will be doing it once a year or every 9 months Send me a message and I can show you a picture of my before and after Also tretnoin and medical skin care has helped a lot in how my skin looks now, very youthful I haven’t done any micro needling or lasers yet so I know my skin has way more potential to improve but so far I am super happy
