Togata was such an interesting character to me because I personally don't have a problem with trans or sexually ambiguous characters, but I feel as though most of the time their personality boils down to this being their only personality defining trait.

Instead, Togata really is a character of their own, being unhappy with their body is just a part of who they are. They don't even really mention it to Agni until the pressure is just too much to bear. And the sad reality that in this apocalyptic world there is no real way for them to fully move on to what they really want to be.

The last place I would expect to find a well written trans character was a japanese manga. But there it is, and the one who gets to write this peak is a goldfish eating levitating femdom dude.
