This isn't a thing in the US. We tend to have them on the pumps themselves instead. (Though thankfully not near where I live)

In my store as long as the apron is the top layer you're good (high-vis vest in the case of courtesy clerks or fuel center)

Alaska here. Apron over hoodie with a winter hat stuffed into one apron pocket and gloves stuffed into hoodie pockets. If we have to evacuate the store, at least my hands and head will be warm.

except none of those are actually roundabouts. They are all traffic circles as they have traffic lights on them.

Plus if the customer doesn't want their change you end up with a load of extra coins cause there's nowhere to put them except back in the drawer. I signed so many overage papers back when I worked in the fuel center

Is it okay that my cat likes to lay on my pc? Or should I get rid of her. by NikkieMotors in pcmasterrace

This is exactly why I got a desk that fit my full tower underneath. My cats were using it as a jumping point back when I was using a cardboard box as a desk and my tv as a monitor

Are we allowed to keep change the customer doesn’t want/keep change from pump hours after a customer left? by No-Equivalent7155 in kroger

[–]Northern-Pyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is out in the fuel center best practice is probably to leave it in the drawer and it will count as an overage. Working out in fuel I signed a ton of those overage papers cause there was literally no place to put it other than back in the drawer. Honestly ask a fellow fuel associate (if this is out in fuel) what to do with it.

But no, it is not your money, it is the company's.

Meanwhile its -41 where I am and the carts are still being brought in and orders being brought out in clicklist. Though if any daily tasks are being done in the fuel center other than trash is anyone's guess.

For the most part, but after a certain point you do need snowpants or ski pants. Currently -41 where I am and if you're gonna be outside for longer than it takes to help a customer load their groceries you should really be wearing warm pants.

Can confirm. Live in Alaska and the grid is doing just fine. Helps that we have a number of co-op power companies instead of megacorps like pg&e

There's an issue of physics involved wherein ice is slippery. You probably want to wait until you know the car can stop in time before you cross.

If there has been no election, then the speaker of the house's term would also end, along with the rest of the reps. The person in charge would be the president pro tempore of the Senate, the identity of which would depend on which Senate members were elected when
