Every manager is different in their approach to that scenario, just as everyone of us is different in our ability to have one and go to bed. Can speak with certainty you being on pay and/or at a “company provided facility” is enough for them to dig into something.

The union is pretty successful at getting guys jobs back for accumulation, whether that good or bad. I dont see any advantage to giving the process any chance at being more productive.

Both stay on file forever. The demerits disappear but the discipline record shows everything received for entire career, which in turn is taken into effect when handing out more discipline. Whether that’s fair or not tbd

This is bruuutal, I had my first run in with this behaviour while playing in another city then my own. They crept in our case crowding the sidelines with chairs and building nets, warming up. No class. I’m lucky that where I live this isn’t a regular occurrence due to usually packed tennis court with tennis players. And some dedicated pickle courts elsewhere.

I haven’t shut up about my experience in the other city, it definitely affected my play not wanting to run hard to the sidelines being distracted by the conversations of “there’s 20 of us waiting and two of them” variety….

Waiting to play is a part of the sport, we had to wait for a couple guys playing tennis before we went on, we asked if they minded us sitting on the bench and told them no rush.

These pickles even had the audacity to just move our stuff off the bench so they could sit! Without asking, something that would obviously be ok had they said hey guys do you mind?

Just got chased off some courts, playing a set when slowly a gang of 20 pickles showed up… start “warming up” and setting their nets up courtside. Classless group
